LA City Council to vote on initiative that would require hotels to give up empty rooms to the homeless

If this passes, I'm never staying at a hotel in LA ever again.

Progressives are just as crazy as far Right Republicans. This is dumb and a waste of money. It might be a come up for cheap hotels though. Government usually overpay and the hotels will milk them for repairs, cleaning and other costs. I don’t see how any of this will work out.

Why should the hotels deal with this? If I own a hotel or decide to invest in a chain, this doesn't help me one bit.
