Deep bond or not I don't know why dude allowed this. This almost sounds like an Onion story.

Kobe Bryant Once Kicked Everybody Out Of A Party At Caron Butler's House For A Security Check: "That Was The Way Kobe Was.”

We all know Kobe Bryant was extremely meticulous, no matter what he intended to do. His work ethic put him on a different level compared to the rest of the NBA players of his era, making him one of the most respected players around the league during and after his active days.

There are plenty of stories about the late Los Angeles Lakers icon and the things he did to make sure everything was safe for himself and those around him, even if that meant intervening in a whole party to have a security check.

Kobe was very careful with every detail of his life and Gilbert Arenas recently told a story that perfectly sums up his personality. Talking on Vlad TV, the Washington Wizards icon revealed one time Kobe attended a party at Caron Butler's residence and took everybody out of the house to have a security check. He didn't even care about Butler and asked everybody to leave until everything was 'OK' for him.

“I got third-party stories. Like Caron was telling me once about his birthday. He did a party at his house in Milwaukee and he said he invited Kobe. Says my house got my family, my friends, our teammates and they said Kobe comes,” Gilbert Arenas said.
“Kobe comes in, and you know he has security. Tell everyone one, ‘Hey, out of the house.’ He kicked everyone out of their own house, and he had a security check to make sure everything was alright, and then they let everyone back in. He [Caron Butler] said, ‘I’m sitting outside looking like, yo bro, this is my house.’ He [Butler] said that was the way Kobe was.”

This is a hilarious story, to be honest, but it also shows that Kobe didn't trust people that easily and didn't hesitate to do anything to make sure he was safe. He had a deep bond with Caron Butler, which is why his former teammate allowed him to do what he did.

Bryant was something else, and this story is the perfect example of that. He always paid attention to the little details and that time wasn't the exception. The good thing is that he confirmed everything was fine and Kobe spent the rest of the event peacefully.

This seems like more of a flex than a real security precaution. What exactly was Kobe expecting to find? Platters of cocaine setup around the house or rooms filled with underage hookers? It ain't like his security would have had the time to sweep for hidden cameras or anything so I don't get it. Plus, I'm sure Caron Butler's house was fairly big, so unless Kobe traveled with a ton of security there's no way they could do a thorough sweep of a large residence in a timely fashion.

Kobe: I decided to get rid of a lot of garbage out your house

Caron: yo why are all my friends standing outside?

Kobe: you welcome
More people these Security checks like that. So many people running around with toxic people they believe are their friends

Kobe hoe'd all the people that allowed him to
and respected the people who didn't
Shit. I'd lose respect for anyone allowed someone to come to their house and pull that shit. Kobe making folks call him unc. :smh: Only person should be able to pull that shit off last name should be Stalin or some shit. If you say no, end up never seen again.

Naaa, fuck that. I'm in "MY" house, 'YOU" are a guest. Respect me and the fact you will be safe here. If not, you can simply leave. I don't give a fuck who you are.

I'm sure he was concerned about being associated with drugs or anything that could fuck up his brand.

Then why go to a party like that in the first place...smh

Kobe didn't really associate with black people. And when he did this is how he conducted himself.
Imagine if he was this meticulous with white pilots.

Kobe had a relationship with his parents that was beyond estranged.
If you don't trust/like/associate with BOTH of your parents, you might have trust issues with people in general.

Caron's job security depended on how he handled that situation, would be my speculation.

Imagine the opposite-
Tellong Kobe, "Yo man. You gotta trust my situation is safe & secure.
We all ain't vacating my crib - you gon' have to miss this one Buddy!"

You'd have gained enemy status FOR LIFE with him!
And thats what shouldve happened.

Ive never been a Kobe fan. I always acknowledged and respected his skills on and off the court, but getting caught with your pants down then blaming Shaq for it?

Mental deficiencies detected.
