Kobe says in 50 years he wants people to think of him "as a person that was able to create stories"

My instinct was that the total shift away from basketball as his legacy stems from coming up short in his quest to top Jordan + the added injury of most people viewing him as surpassed by LeBron. So he'd rather build on a future he can alter than settle for a legacy that can be debated but never changed by him.

But the older clip suggests that, as intense as his focus on basketball was, that he was always going to want it to be regarded as just one part of his life once he moved past it.

Good looks Shaddy. I'm fuckin up all this faggots posts.

Instead he’ll be remembered as an arrogant second rate Jordan snitch who loves white women .

Yea nasty fuckin Becky's that fuck different men in three different days and wear the same fuckin panties

And wonder how these diseases. E spreading like a new wave a cacs came from. Europe

Bruh he fucked a nastaaaaay bitch up the ass raw...

Thats what he gonna be remembered for

Hating his own women and fuckin nasty Becky's...

Makes sense.

Overrated and underachieved as a pro so carve out a niche to increase your legacy with miscellaneous achievements.

Vince Carter did it by playing in 4 different decades.

Carmelo Anthony did it on the Olympic level being the most decorated player ever.

Is Carmelo even a top 50 player? Vince certainly isn't-- Ridiculous comparisons.

Nobody with credibility doesn't have Kobe top 20, many people have him top 10. He was a #13 pick so he dramatically overachieved-- He only fell short of his own highest aspirations.

The only difference is who they played with. One had hall of fame coaches and historically transcendent players to carry them.

Overachieved as a #13 pick? Yes, from an objective sense but he was the most hyped drafted pick of the 90s.
