The New York Knicks did more than complain about two non-calls in the final minute of Game 1 against the Celtics. They sent tape of two controversial plays to the league office, according to an NBA source.

The Knicks had problem with Kevin Garnett's collision with Toney Douglas that preceded Ray Allen's game-winning 3-pointer with 11.6 seconds left. And they also pointed out to the NBA that Delonte West ran onto the court after Allen's 3-pointer to chest bump Allen and the Knicks wanted a technical foul for six players on the court.

According to the source, the NBA admitted that Garnett's trip of Douglas, who was chasing Allen, was a foul while West's running onto the court would have been ruled a delay of game.

nah man, pierce had 4 fouls and committed 4 more and not a one was called... dude did 8 fouls and stayed in the game... melo got called for holding kg when kg is known for doing that shit... hell fields was thrown to the ground 2 times in front of the refs and there was no call. then big baby with the shoulder rush not getting a tech... the refs knew what they were doing...

And I fully expect the Nicks to get 'home cooking' the next two games,but...

I watched the last two games on the local station instead of the national one.The Celts normal crew did the game...and all they kept saying is how the refs were jobbing the Celts.After all...the Nicks did have a 27-16 free throw advantage over the Celts.

Point is,we all see what we want to see...

As for the two points in question...after seeing KG's pick on Toney,which freed up Allen for the 3...

It looked to me,like he tripped over Kg's feet...didn't look like KG hip-checked him as I first thought.

As for Allen's chest bump before the game was over...a ref would have to gorilla balls to call that aginst the home team,no matter where you are.

The Knicks got robbed in game 1. Thats all. In game 2 its the lack of gameplan and execution down the stretch that did you in.

Either way, this is how NBA playoff basketball always is, the favs at home usually get the calls.

Atlanta wasn't hurt. Knicks are 3 deep and a bunch of fill ins. When Amare left the game and no Chauncy, Celts "SHOULD" have won by 10 at least. Credit to Melo for playing a career playoff game, but with an ounce of help it would be 2-0 New York.

6. loose ball off a celtic, called a loose ball of a knick...celts ball...right in front of the ref... another potential 2 or 3 points erased...
7. pierce with 4 fouls last night, committed 4 more that weren't called when the celts were in the penalty... no calls... 4 points potentially erased.

lost points on the refs potentially?15 to 18 points.


the early fouls on tony making him unable to play defense on rondo b/c the refs were calling tic tac fouls on knicks....

lets not mention the holding and elbowing kg does and the flopping pierce and ray do while begging for calls.
