Kids Born to Unwed Moms Hit Record High

A record number of children are being born to unmarried mothers as traditional marriage arrangements are being abandoned at a faster pace, according to a report released today by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

"The surprising thing is that we've had this really big upswing in births to unmarried mothers in such a short period of time," said Stephanie Ventura, the author of the report commissioned by the CDC's National Center of Health Statistics.

In the U.S., nearly 40 percent of births were to unmarried women in 2007, compared with about 34 percent in 2002, according to data first released in March but now being compared with that of other countries.

The report shows that teenagers accounted for only 23 percent of 2007's non-marital births, down from 50 percent in 1970, demonstrating that birth rates for unmarried women in their twenties and over have risen considerably over the period.

I think the reason the focus is always on the female is because she makes the ultimate decision about what will or won't happen in the conception process. Society fierecely protects women and their rights. So unless these chicks were raped then it was their bad decision making that resulted in the child. They already know they have to carry the baby, they will most likely have to raise the child, it is their reputation that will be sullied, and they have to to risk their livesand health with a pregnancy. When they spread their legs they are aware of all of this and should be held more responsible for the outcome. That's why you only hear about the mothers. Besides you can't start pointing fingers at unknown or unnamed dads. Paternity has to be established first. You know how these hoz are. But you can absolutely point a finger at a woman who has delivered a child. There is no doubt about what she's been doing!

Unwed motherhood. This recent shift in the thinking of women is mindblowing. Human beings have always paired up in long term relationships.

Even when blacks couldn't legally marry in this country, we had our own marriage ceremonies that all in the community acknowledged.

Human being are born without memories and knowledge. We have to learn to know any and every-thing.

Someone has to teach females that they have the sole responsibility to bring life onto the planet. Every normal girl on planet earth should know this by the time they reach 8 years old.

Since WWII, women have dropped in the ball in the West. Women are more in touch with whoredom then motherhood. The two are not compatible even with a shopping aisle full of birth control methods.

How in the hell can women design elaborate buildings, write complex software applications and pilot the space shuttle yet they can't prevent unwanted pregnancies thru simple contraceptive methods?

They want to be unwed and pregnant. They want to be unwed mothers. This shit ain't no accident. Too many don't know no better so they don't do better. Thousands of years of acquired feminine knowledge has been lost to these recent generations of misguided women. Men haven't changed. Women have simply lost their way.

Hell, plenty of unwed mothers have come to know the faults, defects and shortcomings of being an unwed mother. We just have to get back on track. Men and women.
