its called freedom of speech and allowing the viewer to make up their own mind. its called allowing the other side to present their side of the argument so the viewer can make up their mind. If you don't allow the other side of present their argument you don't have fair and balance news reporting. you get fox news!! think about it!! regardless of how you feel about the issue, CNN & other news outlet are correct in allowing the other side to have a platform to express their views so you the viewer can make up your mind after listening instead of shutting the opposing side down without even hearing them out.

If you are a news organization and you do not point out known lies you do a disservice to your viewers. This isn't 50 or even 30 years ago, when there were fewer choices and people were held accountable and paid a price for lying if it became known. People market themselves and are paid well based on how well they can twist, lie and spin info to influence people. It's one thing to debate pros and cons, that is not republicans do.
These folks are intentionally lying. Kellyanne was the one to coin the term alternative facts. There are no alternative facts. There is no balance to be shown in reporting if one side constantly lies and the other side doesn't. You don't strive to show tit for tat when only one side is tatting.
