I don't know why, but he doesn't seem like the type of person to raise his voice. I wonder what methods he'll use to tighten these young players up. I wish him the best, though; I'm STILL going for the Lakers this year.

kareem has won as a coach at different levels - the problem is even getting in the door because he was blacklisted because of how problack he was and because he refused to fuck with the media back in the day
the muthafucka is smart and it aint like he dont have references from john wooden lol

man so many big men have fallen to the wayside that could have been saved via learning the skyhook

it's a sad day when mitch kupchak is a GM and kareem abdul jabbar is looking for work...

kareem's chances of landing a coaching gig have greatly diminished in recent years because he continues to fuck with the herb...

you're paranoid... nobody on THIS board bashes people for simply being fans (notice i said THIS board) of a team or player...

but the bashing will be merciless when you provide fuel...

that said, the fakers should be interesting to watch if they can manage to play some D on the perimeter and off the dribble...
 
It's about damn time!!! The man only happened to be taught​
by the coach regarded as one of the best teachers ever....John​
Wooden. And Kareem has the same laid back demeanor of a ​
man who only want to impart KNOWLEDGE to the young bucks​
and make them more effective, not only as ball players, but as ​
human beings. Let's hope Kwame isn't too far gone to come​
back to reality. If he can't learn under Jabbar's patience, then​
he's not capable and never should've jumped to the pros from​
high school. But I digress....Congrats to Kareem. Hopefully, this​
will lead to a head coaching job after Phil is gone.....​
