Cohen’s got the wrong kind of bars for this collab.
Trump fixer Michael Cohen was seen getting coffee with Kanye West at Sant Ambroeus on the Upper East Side Thursday, despite still nominally being on house arrest stemming from his conviction for finance fraud, tax evasion and lying to Congress.

A Page Six spy caught the Kanye coffee klatsch on camera. The last time Cohen was seen out and about, dining at ritzy French bistro Le Bilboquet (also on the UES; at least he’s consistent), his attorney, Jeffrey K. Levine, told us he’d obtained “special permission from the BOP [Bureau of Prisons} and RRM [Residential Reentry Management] to eat out.”
Emails to Cohen’s attorneys Friday night were not immediately returned.

Cohen’s date with West marks the third time he’s been spotted violating his house arrest.
Cohen, 55, was sentenced to three years for his assorted misdeeds in December 2018. He was released from prison in May 2020 due to concerns about COVID-19 and has been serving out the remainder of his sentence, which ends in November under supposed house arrest. But he was also spotted dining at Le Bilboquet in July 2020, as The Post exclusively reported at the time.

As to what he could have been kvetching about with Kanye, we’re in the dark. (Oh, to be a fly on that wall.)
West, 44, has previously professed his admiration for Cohen’s former employer or maybe he’s holding exploratory meetings about his supposed 2024 presidential run, which he remained undecided on as of May.

The rapper is making the most out of his trip to the East Coast, which Page Six exclusively reported he made to help his ex Kim Kardashian with her hosting stint on “Saturday Night Live” this weekend. West has been said to be “quietly advising her on her performance [and] her opening monologue,” so make sure your sides are duly prepared for splitting.
West was also seen in Connecticut on the jaunt, visiting an 80-acre farm in New Canaan, Connecticut, Friday that bills itself as “a humanitarian and cultural center,” which focuses on “nature, arts, justice, community, and faith initiatives,” according to its site.
