Just saw Shazam - spoilers

I'll just start by saying the trailers were a little misleading. It gave off that corny vibe. But IMO, this shit was better than BVS, JL, WW and Aquaman (they were all meh so this is not really saying much) . It's not great by no means, but it has way more rewatch value than the previously mentioned films. It had a lot of funny moments, and there were actually no dull moments like in Aquaman. DC fucked up, Shazam would have fit in nicely with the DCU heroes if they hadn't abandoned it. If they introduce more characters in solo movies (i.e. Blue Beetle and Plastic Man), i could see another version of the Justice League on the big screen. They need to get Flash and Cyborg right for this to work though. One of BGOLs favorite honeys makes an appearance and there is an after credit scene.
I give it a 7 out 10. Would i pay to see it again? Probably on a sunday afternoon if i have nothing else to do. Kids will definitely enjoy it.

And I agree if they did a dope Cyborg movie that shit would do numbers. The kid they got playin him is good actor.

i think it will do good. My theater was packed and everyone seemed to have liked it. It's getting good reviews too. I just think the trailers could have been done better.

if wouldn't have gotten the offer for an early screening, i wouldn't have gone to see it. But i was not disappointed.

If DC had started out like this 10 years ago, we'd probably be seeing the Legion of Doom on the big screen by now. You got WW fighting Cheetah next, Aquaman going up against Black Manta again, and Black Adam on his way. Lex is already out there and so is Joker. DC needs better direction.

i'm for real. The trailers sucked, it did no justice for the movie. There was not one funny part in the trailer, but there are bunch in the actual movie. i know people don't like to see a lot in trailers that will give away the movie, but in this case, DC should have went one step further. given their track record, putting out a bad trailer is not gonna help them.

and Ezra Miller is supposedly writing the script for the Flash movie himself now(with help from Grant Morrison)
