Shit was fire! Basicly it's two flicks back to back. Planet Terror is the Robert Rodriguez directed zombie flick that starts everything off. Before that starts though we get to see a fake trailer for a flick called "Machete" with Danny Trujillo and Cheech Marin. He's plays a migrant worker who's really an assasin out for revenge. The trailer was so over the top I wish they actually made it into a real film. Planet Terror delivers in the action tip with lots of gore and some good humor sprinkled in the mix. Basicly something is brought back from the Iraq war that is making everybody all gooey and human flesh hungry. These zombies are able to talk and think a lil unlike those in other flicks. I gotta admit thought that Rose McGowan was still lookin' hot with that one leg, I'd still beat the breaks off.
The second film is Death Proof about a serial killer who uses his car as a weapon. His victims are two groups of women that he stalks until he can send them to bloody vehicular death. Rosario Dawson shows up in this one but the stuntwoman Zoe Bell who pretty much plays herself steals the show. It's directed by Tarantino so it's starts off slow with a lot of dialogue but once the first crash scene happens your hooked! It also ends in one of the best car chase scenes filmed in recent history. At three hours long the you gonna need to be well rested to endure the whole experience but it's well worth it with movie tickets averaging $9.50 these days. I'll probably see it again by the time the weekend is done. If you fucks with movies like I do then you'll love this.
