If you come in here talking about Inception, don't bother. I see ALL movies at the dollar show, and Inception isn't playing there yet.

I saw that shit last night and it was off the chain from start to finish. I loved it, people applauded at the end and everything. Casting was classic. Rashad even looked like he could act! And Murdock.....dude made the movie. He added something crazy to it.

I fucking loved it. I recommend it to anybody. If you don't like it I will give you your dollar back.

Cleveland, fam,

Cleveland, there is a dollar theater off Bishop Road in Willoughby Hills (aka Loeman's Plaza)

Akron off Dressler Road. Use a GPS-the address is in the link, I don't know shit about Akron without my GPS. All I know there is a Burger King straight down the street from there so grab your movie purse or, in my case an extra large hoodie and enjoy.

Why wasn't it a hit?.................................

It was doomed from the start, no matter how good the action was.

I thought it was going to be corny but I actually enjoyed it to. Made me want to go watch the show like I was 8 all over again

It did reasonably well considering the subject matter. It only underperformed in proportion to its budget. Cost nearly 3x as much as Predators (for no good reason)

What? Were they supposed to add the OLD Mr. T? Who else could have played the role? He wasn't that bad.

Best of summer?

begs to differ...

I couldn't put so far on there. Had to put porn inside part. Plus, i don't see movies until they get to the dollar show. For $1...$1.50 I will see all the movies they have. Going to see 'How to train your dragon' tomorrow. Maybe Date Night, too.

Was it just me or was A-team and The Losers the same damn movie? I mean i seen a lot of similarities.

I thought Rampage did a descent job in the A-Team movie
Especially considering it was his first movie role

The "A-Team" is just one of those slept on movies just like last year that movie "Taken" w/ Liam Neilson was slept on too

:smh:

I watched it at work (thanks to the Hollywood section) a few weeks ago and I have to agree, it was great. It was one of those films that completely surpassed my expectations. It was just a fun movie to watch.

Another movie, with similar subject matter, which also gave me the same feeling was The Losers. I never expected to enjoy both films. As far as Rampage playing B.A., he actually was great in that role. It's not like Mr. T had the greatest acting chops anyways.

Difference was, Taken was a slept on HIT, and A-Team was a slept on financial flop that didn't cover the production costs.

To the guy who compared A-Team to losers, I like the bad guys better in A-team. Lynch was a bad ass. The line about him wearing a bullet proof vest in HQ is proof of who he is. I liked A-team much more than I did losers. 3 of my coworkers were like Ehhh (with losers) as was I.

I thought Rampage did a great job. How are people acting like Mr. T was Denzel or Samuel L damn. Mr. T's acting was terrible!!!

Actually that's exactly what I was thinking. Like someone said earlier, nobody can play Mr. T ,but Mr. T. If you grew up on that show, there's no replacement. They should've called the movie something else or made Rampage BA Baracus's son or some shit. I didn't see the movie, but if they had him saying "I pity the fool" or any other Mr. T euphemisms, it's a total face palm FAIL.

Get him a personal trainer for 6 months, some make-up and he would've been fine. Everybody else in the cast is replaceable, but him. Oh and I would've picked Jim Carrey to play Murdock. :dunno:

I thought it was mediocre

The Losers > The A-Team

Glad some other people thought that

They had a lot better chemistry than the characters on the A-Team. That's what was missing from the movie. They seemed to just be thrown together.

For the record I was impressed by Rampage.

Ppl either seem to love/hate the flick...I think a lot of ppl are just unfamiliar w/ A-Team or forgot what it was about...cuz 1 argument I hear is it was unrealistic...ya and so was every single ep of A-Team...every week they did some unbelieveable shit to fight against unbelievable odds...the movie offered everything the show did but on a grand scale...again it was a great action flick...it's very rare that I watch a flick @ home and wish I had seen it in theaters instead

Man after that opening scene I was hooked...and the movie never let up from that...I will have to look @ some old A-Team eps but I don't recall any intense comraderie I just remember BA hatin Murdoc's guts lol and Face/Hannibal being somewhat close which was pretty much the case in the movie...Losers was ok but I barely even remember that flick...wasn't really impressed

Taken did $145 million domestic, and that was despite the fact that DVDs were available from overseas months before it came out. It did just fine.
