I wouldn't have been mad if i paid to see it.

It was your typical M. Bay film.

Paper thin plot.
Non acting chick.
Lense Flares.
Explosions.
Slow motion action scenes.
Slow camera pans across faces.
Glorification of the military industrial complex.
Thousands of rounds fired. No one hit. Lol.
Exposition just to get from explosion to explosion.

But it was a fun movie. The crowd loved it and clapped at the end.

It was some of the best CGI and CGI fight scenes i have ever witnessed. Shredder and Splinter were off the chain.

I was prepared to hate it. But it was good and I will be taking my younger cousins to see it. and paying.... And the 3D was worth it. I hate 3d movies. But they made it work.

color me surprised. even my girl liked it.

i don't understand how bay destroyed transformers the way he did but got the tone of TMNT almost perfect. I have a couple of gripes. But they are minor. Good inside jokes. Fun movie.

Cowabunga!

I'll be checking it out too, and sending you a bill if your review was so far off point as Cleveland is to LA

 when I left transformers I was physically angry. When I left this I was cool and the crowd was happy. Every one said it surpassed their expectations. I went in with low expectations and this movie managed to really surprise me.

ALL the new commercials are trying to sell the fact that this shit AINT DIRECTED BY MICHAEL BAY so the naysayers will back off.

And its not. The framing is different, set up angles are different. Lense work is a bit similar but the color saturation is not and the filters are different. This doesnt look like Tony Scott at all - which is saying this doesnt look like Michael Bay trying to imitate Tony Scott in every movie.

And I like how Michael Bay films his video. Every film he does with black folks looks good. He knows how to film darkies and shiney cars and women. But that aint here in this flick.

This is Jonathans film, like Terminator 3, just like Louies film was Incredible Hulk. They are similar, average directors that look like everybody else.

Kinda like when we seen Stevens name as a producer in the first Transformers flick and that gave Bay some steam to push his way around with. Later on, we see that he had no say over that shit and Bay took the reins and effectively killed the series...

Bays name on this will kill its potential instead of helping it...
