Judge approves AT&T-Time Warner deal

The AT&T and Time Warner competitors should be happy as pigs in shit. If AT&T runs Time Warner as poorly as been the case with Direct TV in a few years Time Warner will be as useful a Wometco Box.

I wonder what they gonna rename the Time Warner Center in NYC

It won't matter.....what is left of them are moving to that Hudson Yard spot anyway. I think that they gave up the TWC in 2014.

Right it sold it's rights in 2014 but officially there's no more TIME WARNER now so they ain't moving anywhere. That was the plan....
Time Warner Cable was renamed Spectrum already by AT&T
I use to fix Servers and Main Frames in the Grace Building on 42nd for HBO
Once AT&T bought Time Warner (before it was ok'd) they moved most of the stuff to Mexico and laid off all the data center workers

:smh:

All the corporate tax cuts, environmental deregulation, kill net neutrality, and a blank check to monopolize.

DOJ doesn’t do shit.

How much you think they paid for it all? The lobbyists I mean.

How many times do I have to keep saying that Time Warner Cable had nothing to do with Time Warner Inc? AT&T didn't rename Time Warner Cable to Spectrum...because they didn't buy them. Charter Communications bought Time Warner Cable and renamed it Spectrum.

AT&T gets what ever Time Warner Inc owned. But they didnt aquire an actual cable provider. Unless they owned some smaller providers across the country I havent heard of.

The biggest actual cable provider in the nation is still Comcast. With Spectrum being second biggest. And by cable provider I mean a company that offers cable tv, internet, and phone.

OK I stand corrected with the cable service. HBO belongs to AT&T though...All the stations Time Warner owned does.
They fell under Timer Warner Inc.

Correct. The only reason I stress this is because most people don't know the difference and think AT&T just bought another cable company. Most of my customers think this anyways. And AT&T sales reps were lying months ago trying to get people to switch over by saying they were buying Time Warner Cable out. Its a dirty game.

They said that they were moving regardless of the merger fam. Maybe it was a pump fake....can't trust these cacs.
