Jon Jones cited for drag racing, 4 other violations in Albuquerque, New Mexic

this incident is a damn good argument for cameras on cops, thats for sure.

Sometimes cops can piss you off, to where you feel compelled have to respond to em.

I halfway wanted Jon to bust that cops ass, which he could've easily done- but of course the cop would've shot his ass.

Had that footage not been around, I DEFINITELY would've thought Jon was at fault lol- just keeping it real.

Hell yeah it would be easy to assume Jon did some dumb shit again.

I still think it's fucked up that even with body cams pigs are pulling shit like this. Pulling people over for bullshit can easily lead to bullshit. Fucking fishing expeditions.

Report: District Attorney makes recommendations for jailed Jon Jones, includes curfew stipulation

tomorrow (Thurs., March 31, 2016), perhaps the greatest mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter of all-time -- who has literally zero ability to drive a motor vehicle -- will have his day in Bernalillo County court. That's when former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Light Heavyweight champion, Jon Jones, will leave his prison cell to stand in front of judge Michael Martinez inside New Mexico Second Judicial District Court to explain the reason(s) he violated the terms of his probation, as well as cursed and brow-beat a local police officer.

The good news? It seems as though Jones -- who up until recently satisfied the terms of his 18-month supervised probation, including numerous community service appearances -- will be able to return to society ... on a few new conditions.

Namely (via MMAFighting.com):

  1. Completes a driver improvement course;
  2. Maintains a curfew in which he will be required to remain home between the hours of 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. with the exception of for employment purposes;
  3. Enrolls in and completes an anger management counseling course.
Check out the complete recommendation (again via MMAFighting.com):

I'm still not sure why Jones would be allowed on the road or would even want to put himself in a position to possibly shoot himself in the foot again. Uber is a real thing and so, too, is a designated driver. Nonetheless, it appears that Jones -- provided he's allowed to travel outside of New Mexico -- will be able to make his date with Daniel Cormier at UFC 197, which takes place at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, later this month (April 23, 2016).

It was supposed to mark his sober, ceremonious return after being suspendedand stripped of his title more than one year ago. But, once again, Jones has managed to overshadow his incredible talents by doing truly dumb things. Worst case scenario: Judge Martinez throws a curveball in court tomorrow and issues a ruling that will once again threaten to blow up another Jones-led PPV event.

Nothing should surprise fight fans at this stage of the Jones legal game.

Pig pulls him over for bullshit, and the system backs the pig. Who'd have guessed that? :hmm: Now he has to go to ANGER MANAGEMENT because of that pig. Who the fuck isn't angry when they are pulled over for bullshit. Damn I hate pigs.
