Joe Budden - Making A Murderer Pt. 1 (Drake & Meek Mill Diss)

drake quietly knocking down all the chicks joe wifes, beats up and has messy breakups with. the dude called joe to make sure he was cool with him knocking down his ex. thats some g shit. i been saying this from day 1. drake is a realer cat than most of these dudes pretending to be hard.

Didn listen to that fourth verse huh Playboy. Like Ray J, Joe "Hit It First" so who cares what happens afterwards.

super hard. he shoulda backed drake down w/ this out the gate.

u gotta bait the prey out 1st. if i'm drake i beat joey by not even responding. that would burn him up more than anything u can say.

You are definitely hitting on something with that last sentence.
As corny as he is, I thought he would've got chased out the game by now lol.
That just tells you a lot about the rest of these cats

It was the other way around, Joe called Drake to let him know it's all good and didn't care which is why Drake said "niggas calling me asking bout they girl" or some shit and Joe saying "I called you to tell you do you". Y'all keep blatantly changing facts to make it L's for dude, They're both knocking down the same hoes, let's not blanket the Esther and Tahiary breakups over all the hoes this nigga has been connected to so that we can, once again, weave and L for him

He spit hotter bars than Drake did on Back2Back. Those "world tour or your girl's tour" and "prenup" lines were cool, but cats were calling the battle for Drake before Meek even replied. If Back2Back was a first round TKO, this joint damn sure is (lyrically). Back2Back just had a better beat, but this isn't a beat battle. It's a battle of bars.
It's all about punch lines nowadays in a rap battle and Drake had better punch lines against Meek Mill than what Meek put out in his song which is why Drake KO'd him. Joe Budden punch lines are weak in this battle to me.

They called it a KO for Drake before Meek even had a chance to reply... before he took too long to reply. He did have better punch lines than Meek, but Joe's punchlines here are miles above Drake's punchlines in Back2Back. His punchlines are not only clever, they're complex. Drakes punchlines were just good snaps. They were funny, but not ferocious. It's all subjective to personal opinion, but Joe seems to be aiming for a target audience that prizes great lyrics. Drake was appealing to an audience that prizes hot songs.

Meek took to damn long to reply. That's what fucked him up credibility wise.

Drake was crown the winner BEFORE Meek fucked up his credibility by taking too long. Taking too long only solidified the knee-jerk reaction to crown Drake the winner.
Meek started the shit but couldn't finish it. If you start a beef you should be prepared to have some ammunition with your raps to finish the person off but Meek didn't so fuck him.

I would assume to let him know he heard the bitch is sniffing around dude and, given their friendship, he wanted to let him know in advance it's nothing, he should do him :dunno:

The clown in the room that pretends to be Drake's cousin on a message board is starting to make me feel bad for him

my bad. actually that makes it worse if u ask me but hey, that's between them...

if a dude im cool with is knocking down my ex, what do i have to call him bout?
he already said all that needs to be said on the subject.

joe already holds all the L's when he punched a baby out his girl and then went on a track talking about it. dude should e under the jail if u ask me...

I can respect that you don't like fam and the reasons you have for that

Yeah, agreed. But that's besides the point of Drake's diss record being seen as a first round KO BEFORE Meek even responded (late). The momentum was on Drake's side from the onset. In this case, Joe doesn't have the momentum of popularity. So he dropped a lyricist's lyrical track that doesn't relay on popularity, anyway. Drake could ignore it or come back with subliminals, and Joe would 'win' by default.

Fuck Meek and Fuck Joe. Two lame rappers. One is a shit starter but can't finish what he started and the other one steals from women and beats them. Fuck both of them.

joe whole podcast is discussing the song...

(AllHipHop News) In Episode 71 of Joe Budden’s “I’ll Name this Podcast Later,” the rapper discussed his diss record “Making A Murderer Part 1” during his hour-long Internet radio show.

Joe Budden made it abundantly clear that he has no personal issues with Drake, but was being proactive in releasing his “Making a Murderer Part 1” record.

In fact, Joe said he was a fan of both Drake, but he went on the attack, after French Montana posted a video that appeared to feature Drake mocking Joe’s hit 2004 single “Pump, Pump it Up.

Towards the end, Joe got a call from an associate, who forwarded him a Tweet that was recently sent out by Drake’s close associate, OVO Noel.

The Tweet simply featured a recording studio monitor, leaving many of OVO Noel’s followers to naturally assume some sort of reply was being planned.

The was enough to get Joe Budden excited.

“Tell your f##king boss, ni##a, worker ass ni##a, new slave ass ni##a, tell your boss that before I got word of your monitor picture, I was going to the studio to celebrate anyway, not rap. I am going to sit there and bask. I can post a picture of a monitor too. There’s an OVO Radio tomorrow, I am sure there will be something I think is a diss. Hopefully it will be aggressive. I just want bars…” Joe Budden joked. “OVO Noel, I love Drake. I am going to tear him the f##k and you with your pictures.”

If Drake does reply, he better be ready for a long a battle.

Joe Budden revealed that he had already recorded a bunch of diss records for anyone who might have something to say over the July 4th holiday.

And Joe Budden is unrestricted in what he can release, since he is 100% signed to his own label, Mood Muzik.

Kat got clapped for real making their show and still pushing tbrough just like on ProjectHeat.
I may check that S.m.o.k.e. sessions out but I definitely remember the name watching some BTS for TheTerms.
I like when the local rappers as well as established named kats add their two cents to the production and flavor and not just making cameoes. Pop is killin em with MaBarker & SmifNWessun though, putting it down haha.....ArlissMichaels also with TheProChiller......

I know UncleMurda wants to rep his 'jects but he's already a very integral part of the big boy on top, M&V.

Tell your people keep doing what they do.
Mind detects & real always recognizes. .....

As far as Jumpoff, now that's how u go @ heads.
Nice.

I know he picks and chooses his battles as he let that local shot from them wild young boys from around his way go as he's a different breed than them, knowing be dosent need them probs
