It amazes me how corporations can still be so bad at handling basic shit such as this. Especially given a week to get their stories together and provide a satisfactory public response. The fact that no manager there- in real time- had the basic common sense to know this was being poorly handled (in a customer service industry no less) is mind boggling.
They restaurants public relations/media consultants
Are fucking horrible....
They gave two conflicting official statements...
First they were like we have some new rule
About splitting up large parties blah blah blah..
Then another statement saying it wasn't about large parties
But their conduct about it being loud and disruptive
Uh make up your mind what was it....
For a business to be that sloppy in its effort to protect its image
Says a lot about the people in corporate
Bunch of fuckin flunkies who have zero idea on how to deal with damage control.
I could've deaded this whole shit that day...
Obviously someone didnt want to serve them that day for whatever reason
And now the restaurant is looking real sloppy right now

Not sure about the Jay Morrison Case, but the Houston's on Lenox is Mostly a black staff front and back of the house, I dine there from time to time and I never had an issue...this seem more like a "I want what I want when I want it and if you don't give it to me it's gon be a problem" type situation....sorry to say but people in that area have VERY LARGE EGOS.......
Been going there for over 20 years at about 4 times a year....I like the food , the atmosphere and mostly the service, sometimes I'm with a party of two and sometimes a party of six had zero problems for that 20 year period and I go to all three locations (it used to be four) . Not doubting his experience but this could be a classic example of you get what you put out. ......on another note I'm always treated bad at Waffle House and I hate it....but that may be me so I don't go but others seem to like it so why should I rally them around my cause. I support Black businesses but that's not realistic when it comes to restaurants.......I mean I go where the service and food is good and Houston's has both for me.

I agree in not giving them my money but I still think we should call them on their shit and get other black folks to skip these types of businesses.
whatever the case this is not good publicity to the restaurant
Go to the Houstons on West Paces Ferry. Shorter wait time and better service.
