*While promoting his new film "The Kingdom," about a series of terrorist bombings in the Mideast, Jamie Foxx was asked to share his to own thoughts about the situation America currently faces in the region.


The Oscar winner told MSNBC that he doesn't see an end in sight to the Iraq war — and that President Bush's big problem is that he lacks "charisma."

"It's not the way America has handled the war, it's the way George Bush has handled it," he said. "I think George Bush and the guys that are there just don't have the charisma to pull off the things that they're trying to do. I can understand if you want to go to war, but how do you go to war? They go to war in a high-risk, high-return or high-risk, no-return ... situation. You'll be in Iraq for another 30 years. You can't get out."

Foxx supports presidential candidate Senator Barack Obama in the 2008 Presidential race, but says he will support whoever wins the Democratic nomination.

the TV is something serious, you can't really by into that shit, we would have got more respect if we would went there as peace makers, but then again the was peace kinda with Saddam, my thoughts for the reasons are:

1. Saddam was planning on changing to the euro, and saying fuck the dollar.
2. Oil profits - how come your really didnt see any oil wells on fire, i read
something about Bush, having top officals maybe like three to five knowing
what area to protect first, so i guess the soldiers was doing something
that they didn't have any idea about (protecting the oil wells)
3. Destabilizing the area, let them kill up each other, because their not in the
plan for NWO, be their religion teach aggression.
4. Location is great to monitor the other country that you may have a
problem with, being there you can easily deal with Iran,

Foxx is only part right. Style and charisma may help you win a few games on the basketball court (Michael Jordan) but it means nothing when your facing an AK-47.

A lack of charisma is only a small part of whats wrong. Bush lacked the common sense to listen to his father and advisors who knew better than to enter Iraq. The idea was squashed during the 1st war with Iraq because they had no exit strategy. Bush is on a power trip and it doesn't matter to him how many American lives are lost to achieve his objective. (As of today the total is over 3800 killed, who knows how many have been injured)

As for the so called terrorist and insergents who are credited with much of whats wrong with Iraq. I ask if this country was invaded by a foreign power what course of action do you think we citizens would do? Our reponse would be the same as whats happening in Iraq today.

This is the second war the US entered into with no chance to win, our 2nd Viet Nam. Why? OIL! Anyone believing this war is about destroying the TaliBan, the destruction of the World Trade Center buildings, getting Saddam or Bin Laden is very confused and misled. Its OIL!
