I got a flu shot about a month ago. I now officially have my first cold. I blame myself. The other day my feet were cold. I didn't do enough to warm them up, now I'm sick.
As I age, it seems that each year I get a little more sick--i.e., my cold, or flu, lasts longer, and my symptoms worsen. I'm really afraid of pneumonia. It seems that every time I get sick I develop sinus problems, which cause my sinuses to drain into my lungs while I sleep. Almost every night this occurs, I wake up in a panic because I feel I can't breathe.
So what precautions do you take to avoid getting sick? And once you're sick what natural remedies do you use? Also, what over the counter medications do you buy when home remedies cease to work?
