Isiah or Magic Off-Base? "He said--He Said"....

...and we all heard it before...10-15 years ago. Zeke said, "I'm really hurt" about the many (Isiah related)comments Magic mentioned in a soon-to-be-released book, according to a column written by S.I. Senior Sports writer, Ian Thomsen. And the book was co-written with Larry Bird, titled, "When The Game Was Ours"

Many of us heard about this stuff years ago, but never from Magic Johnson, himself. Rumors like HIV positive, gay activity, keeping Zeke out of the Olympics, freezing Jordan at his first All-Star game, etc.,etc. Isiah--in his defense--said that he was the ONE person that initiatd an effort to allow Magic play in an All-Star after Magic had retired. Most of the other 'Big-Named' players were against it, especially Karl Malone.

Well, saw a post about this on the main board and one person pulled out an excerpt that quotes Magic as saying that he and Jordan conspired to freeze Isiah Thomas off of the Dream Team (which IMO is a criminal act). If you add to that them admitted that they froze out Jordan from the offesne in the All star game, seems to me like Magic has bee in the middle of some duplicitous shit twice.

There's probably a little-bit of truth in each others accusations, but they seemed like sincere friends when Zeke was a Piston. However, I was a little surprised that Magic made no comment after Karl Malone did a 'job' on Isiah after Isiah played circles around that Jazz guard. In fact I don't remember seeing any of Zeke's teammates coming to his aid, after the obvious 'strongarm' happened.

Zeke came through the lane and Magic gave him an elbow to head and cut him wide open..the same way Malone did when Zeke was raping Stockton... Zeke used to embarrass stockon after that bullshit Dream Team freeze out....

the funniest part IMO has NOTHING to do with the "sexuality" innuendo/question/rumors.

if you've read the laundry list of claims in this book that isiah thomas has already addressed and refuted, it reflects pretty poorly on earvin johnson.
