Is this Supreme Court decision putting a target on the back of A.I. and other generative art?

It's ridiculous. The man has been dead for nearly 40 years and he's still able to lose a copyright decision.

There needs to be a statute of limitation on copyright claims just like there is for most felonies. Once in offending work is reached a certain level of notoriety the plaintiff has 7 years to launch a case. If they don't there's no infringement.
