Italy and Spain are chock full of Argentine players, the UK is quickly filling up with questionable Americans who seem to have a key to the Kingdom of English football. On the other hand, superior Brazilian players, such as Wesley and Andre Ribeiro, play in Germany, and Ukraine...How come Jonathan Spector, who was toyed with by Neymar, plays in the EPL while Andre Santos plays in Turkey????? How come the likes of Clint Dempsey play in the UK, while Luis Fabiano cannot get a place in England, beg as he has??

Of course someone could also point out there is a huge contigent of Africans in the EPL, and the bigger ones, such as Drogba and Adebayo, seem to fit the demands of that league than the smaller, fleet footed Brazilians...

I am playing Devil's advocate, what do you all think????

I think it is a south american problem more than a brazilian one. I know you will disagree with me on this, but I think City's Robinho adventure has left a bad taste in the mouth's of many EPL clubs. Also, you have to admit that historically south americans have had difficulty settling in England; weather, culture, language and the EPL's style of play all are contributing factors. Finally, I think many of the Brazilians want to come to England and play with the Chelseas/Arsenals et al and not the Birminghams, Wigans and Blackburns. Look at Tevez. He single handedly kept West Ham up one year and then got a massive pay day after he demonstrated that he could play in the EPL. However, hes been in england for a while now and has yet to settle off the pitch just like mascerano.

There's a bunch of Afro-Brazilians and Africans in La Liga. I think the La Liga thing might be more because the Latin Americans are more comfortable with the language and culture. And isn't Chelsea practically all black players?

What's wrong with playing in the Bundesliga? It's one of the top leagues in the world. Some might say it overtook all the Euro-leagues in terms of competitiveness.

I was playing Devil's advocate... I agree with you; the EPL has a lot of Africans in it these days. It seems every team has an African players on it...

I thought the 3 top leagues were the Serie A, La Liga and the EPL...

That's usually the case, but Bayern Munich did make it to the Champions League final this year. Their league is also harder to predict who will come out on top(although Bayern sure does win a lot). Who would have expected Mainz to be in 3rd place and Schalke in the relegation zone?

I think you are not happy because you are not the center of the world on a football matter... Other than be negative, what positive contribution have you made to this thread?

Hmmm....lets see. Never mentioned at all about England being the centre of the world in football. All I wrote was that you write the facts about your original statement.

UK (Take it you meant the EPL?). filled up with questionable Americans? Please explain this comment.

How many africans are playing in the premiership?

I am not talking about England, I am talking about you personally. You ask me to explain something, how about you contributing something other than hatred to the thread before you start demanding explanations?

Nzinga. You should be more careful with your words. Hatred to the thread? Where did you get that one from? All I asked was where was you getting your information from?

But anyway I digress. You wanted me to talk something positive about your thread. Ok. Let's begin. Is there racism in football? Yes there is. Done.

Explain this comment to me please. The only Americans I know who are playing regular football in the premiership is Clint Dempsey and Tim Howard.

How come the likes of Clint Dempsey play in the UK, while Luis Fabiano cannot get a place in England, beg as he has??

Its been well documented that several clubs in the EPL were interested in Fabiano after the world cup, but were put off by his excessive wage demands as well as Fabiano publicly stating that he would prefer to stay at Seville.

As from the beginning all I asked was where are you getting your facts from in regards. That's all.
