I have a buddy in a somewhat similar situation, but not as extreme. He makes about 75k/year and his wife makes about 220k/year. They seem to be fine. He has children from prior relationships, so he's also paying child support to a few different women. The 2 of them have 2 children together. On the outside looking in, one would probably think that things would go south real quick, but they both seem happy to me.

From what I've seen with my buddy, the situation in the OP can work out but it's entirely on the 2 people that are in it. If she let's her lonely ass friends get in her head (or around her man), it's probably not going to end well. If they both are okay with the dynamic of their relationship, they can end up being together for a very long time.
