How many Heisman winners actually excel in the NFL?, Archie Griffin won two and never raised any hell in the the NFL.

The Florida Gator's QB Tim Tebow should win, hands down. The weakest and most outrageous excuse for NOT voting in his favor: "He's won it before". ....Duh. So did Archie Griffith at Ohio State.

The man WILLS his team to win, and is an excellent leader on and off the field.

Another excuse.... "He'll never make it in the NFL". Well, they said the same thing about the Ravens QB Joe Flaaco (small college prejudice). Granted there have been former Heisman winners who failed, as there have been high draft picks that have failed' players are different and overachieve, at times.

Remember the criteria is NOT based on a possible NFL career. It should be based solely on the Best College player available each season.

Stats should have nothing to do with it. Granted his stats are lower this season than last, but he and the his team are still winners!

His religious beliefs, or anything else should not be held against him.

 I don't understand this shit. Tebow gives a speech so he should have won it?

All had the same number of losses but for some reason Tebow WILLS his team to win and the others don't.
Tebow just does not have anything on this season that stood out compared to the other 2.

Bradford: Most TDs, his team offense scored most points in history, best qb rating, and most passing yards out the 3.

Colt: Most rushing yds out the 3, and best completion % out of the 3.

Tebow: Gives the best speeches? :dunno:

He is probably an SEC fan

All 3 have a case of winning. All 3 are VITAL to thier teams success but you can say McCoy and Tebow are the most "valuable" b/c of what they do both passing and running the ball.

Everyone knows the Heisman is about numbers and how well your team is, it's not the "best player" or whatever bullshit they try to make you think. Bradford had the best stats and his team is playing in the championship game so he won.

on a more serious note...did you really sleep on these former Heisman winners??

Eddie George, Barry Sanders, Tim Brown, Earl Campbell, Charles Woodson

I think QB's can't really cut. RB & WR have a better shot.

In my opinion the top NFL draft prospect is Texas Tech's Michael Crabtree who is a WR.

RB's definately do better than the QB's in the NFL.

Best college player is only measured by the comp he stomps in college. When the best are playing the best them stats in college go out the window.
