to get revenge/payback on a man? A guy does you dirty, is it right to do him dirty right back? Give him a taste of his own medicine? Does it get you anywhere??

I say no. Take what happened for what it is, learn from it, and move on. It would really suck if you mess up a future opportunity and/or blessing because you stooped down to someone else's level just to get the quick satisfaction of revenge. You don't have to like what happened, but you should TRY to see it as a chance to learn that can and will help you in your present and future...

Co-Sign. Gettin revenge does nothin. You should just learn from it and move on. And not gettin revenge will fuck with someones head more anyway.​
 
All the energy you put into revenge isnt worth that brief feeling of pleasure. Chalk it up to a lesson learned, move on and try to prevent it from happening again.
 
im half and half. i more so just wanted to see everyones opinion on the issue....

sometimes i think ppl deserve to get what they've given, then the adult side of me says fuck it. no one like that is worth my energy and self respect...

In reference to what I have highlighted in blue, people who deserve that kind of thing will get what they've got coming in due time. No need to worry about that. It will come back to them for sure...

I'm not up on revenge, once I get to the point where I'm even thinking about it, it's time to cut you loose cuz I know me....my vengeful thoughts are on a whole new level on some show em how it's done type shit aka being a scorpio lol. being that I am continually trying to stray away from that, I try not to allow people to take me there.

First, what did he do that you feel deserves your getting revenge in the first place?

Revenge does nothing to a person unless we talking death or money. :smh:

If you cheat on a person because they cheated on you for instance then you did it just for get back. The original cheater did it because it was something they wanted to do, enjoyed what they wanted to do and probably didn't have you in mind at all while doing it. So really you got fucked twice.

You can put damn near anything in the place of sex and come out with the same conclusion. :smh:
 
In response to most of you, I wouldn't do what they did back to them. That's dumb and yep makes me a hypocrite. Like if a dude cheated on me I'm not gonna go and cheat on hi bc I'm not a bird. I'm good at hitting people where it hurts most, if/when necessary, so I would aim for their soft spot....

Whether it be smashing the beloved phones and Ipods or deleting the most prized possessions off the hard drive lol...

Why do you need a reason to fuck someone else. If you want to fuck someone else them simple go and do it. Don't make the reason you doing dirt the his fault.

I don't need revenge...I think being without me if he "loves" me so much is enough. So I'll go about my business, maybe a little bit more of a bitch than usual...lol. But if I ever need to I'll just turn the recording equip into scrap metal :lol:
