Should the Clippers trade Griffin?

The Jump crew shares its thoughts on if the Clippers should consider moving on from Blake Griffin.

If your goal is to beat the Warriors then I feel it is time to explore options.

The clippers have shown that they are not even in the same league as the Warriors.

Doubt anybody takes him with his UFA status but Boston with their pick (Nets pick so top 5 presumably) and Smart/Olenik combo would be interesting if I'm Doc Rivers.

i agree

but don't forget

less than 3 seasons back?

Blake was damn near averaging a triple double...MVP consideration

doing work on both sides of the floor and had those old pogo stick legs.

What have you done for me lately world we live in. Blake ain't look like Blake in awhile.

I don't think he really has excelled in one area of his game. He's a jack of all trades but king of none

^^^^^

he is a strange player

I can't remember him ever DOMINATING a game or a series but his numbers and his dunks are still great

and that one near MVP season I thought that was him at his peak...

he COULD have been Draymond...

with BETTER offensive skills

Blake should have got traded 2 years ago...

bolster the bench, put shooters around CP3, and let dj control everything in the paint...

as constructed, the paper clips are a poorly built team

Forreal. I've never seen a takeover moment by Blake. I think he's just a great complimentary player when healthy but no superstar

but that talent..

remember when Blake came back after sitting out that first year?

Those dunks? That power and then he developed that little j? And he would go down low?

I really thought he had found himself.

I think the right coach he could STILL be THAT player.

This far in his career, the only one who should be motivating Blake is himself.

damn...

I gonna disagree a little

look at Harden with d'Antoni

I believe there are relationships and systems that work better than others.

In fairness Harden averaged 7.5 assist a year ago with Dwight Howard as his running mate. Now with shooters like Anderson and Gordon his assist would obviously bump up some.

In all, Harden is still the same player he was last season except he has a better compliment of players who match his game.

true

but the TEAM looks and plays better

and of course they lost a double digit lead in about 10 minutes last night to the Spurs.

So of course D'Antoni...same old G
