Everyone does. Besides, it's just money. The idea in and of itself is ridiculous; but we, being the great upright ape have contrived these systems whereby our daily lives are wholly dependent on the things. Anything on which we "spend" these monies is ridiculous, the justification being seated solely in the degree to which the purchase's relevance beneficially affects our condition. We've reached a point in our evolution wherein we have truly lost control of our own systemic stabilizers. The only rationale to embrace is to use, abuse, and confuse the system. The more I make, the more I make people make for me, the more inclined I will be to indulge in frivolity- and I enjoy frivolity- thus fueling the system. The mantra of choice, exemplified by this circumstance especially, is simply Why not?.

put a large down payment
on a house.
brought new furniture
for every room 3 brm 2 baths 1 acre land.
put 45 thousand in a mutual fund.
brought a new used Eldorado
so not all black people do dumb shit when they get money

I never understood how people make statements like this. Most of the "ridiculous" stuff they spend money on was never intended for "us" to be able to afford in the first place. Rich white folks have had access to all the same stuff for years but it was never an issue when only "they" could afford it and bought it. There's not a thing out there that these entertainers and athletes are buying that white folks weren't already on.

They don't respect it. They don't think it can ever go anywhere. They couldn't be more wrong. If I had money I would never spend 100K on a watch, 1M on a car. But that is me. That is why Ill never come into that kinda money. People who spend money wisely never get lots of money.
