Ladies how many of you would stick with Irv Gotti if you
were in Debbie's shoes? From a male perspective I could feel
his situtaion somewhat, the only thing is why the hell get married and have
kids?..... if you want that playa lifestyle. This the main reason I have not married
yet I wanna make sure I have no more play in my system.
I enjoy having 3-4 women to kick it with but my chick in the wing
beautiful as she is reminds me of Debbie alot. But instead of contemplating
divorce she has questions about marriage. I don't wanna be damn near 40 in his situation:smh:...
So I'm handing in my playa card very soon:dance:at least i will try:hmm:

So my main question is.......If yall had the Big House, the Bentley,
the kids would you put up with your HUSBAND openly cheating
on you how would yall carry this situation.Would you be content with your
life I think when a women is in love there is nothing you can tell her.

I don't have a problem if people choose to live polyamorous/ open-marriage...but cheating is different. That implies deception or some sneaky shit

I would not be pleased married to a man doing slick shit (a liar) and god forbid making babies outside of the relationship (*cough P Diddy*)

But if the wife knows, doesn't care, and is content to bentley ride thats cool. If she does care but accepts it because she feels is the best she can expect out of life and love, then it's sad.

Women have been dealing with it for years.

If you promise to not cheat, then that's what I expect. I would just be like Bryant Gumbel's ex who documented his affairs for 20 years then BAM! Hit him where it hurts.

...I wanna make sure I have no more play in my system...

Is there such a thing?? Let's be honest here. I know grown-ass ninjas... in their 50s &60s still talking the same shit. :smh: Got kids all over the country...

Oh, and to answer your question... I myself don't think I have the patience or will-power to just sit back and chill... no matter how much money is at stake. At some point, my dignity and integrity will kick in.

The other fucked up thing is that she is indirectly teaching her kids (especially the girls) to accept "dishonesty" from men... That it's fine. ...Uh, no bitch, it's not. :smh:

My final point is that I'm sure Debbie knew what she was up against when she married him years ago. :hmm: He didnt just start this philandering last week....

Exactly girl, Method Man, Snoop, LL Cool J, who are all married, are notorious for their wandering ways. I'm sure the women are ok with that as long as house and home is being taken care of.

But I promise you if I were in any of those ladies shoes, they wouldn't be the only one indulging in outside pleasures.

One of the problems with men like Gotti is they are very controlling and manipulative. If his wife cheated he would have a real problem with it. I know I couldn't put up with a man like that because I'm not willing to sacrifice my peace of mind for anyone walking this earth. Besides, I have always felt that what is good for the goose is better for the gander.

& Ive known some men who dont, havent and took their vows to the grave with the right women but of course you've een more in yooour case then mine

According to that show, when Lorenzo was asked over the air if he was loyal or if cheats or some shit, he straight up said yeah and she ended shit to where its at right now - the couch;

Wasnt even trying to get into that fucking show due to the fact that it was gonna chronicle some of their embarassing involvement and he has to justify with some dumb shit but did catch a few lol

In one, she was showing concern over him copping a bigger home due to the fact that if he gets up and leaves her high and dry, her current place is paid in full; but the camras and the game kicked in with the editing so all we saw was the song and dance

Long story short, them chicks know what theyre geting into so that fame comes with that pain I guess;

Every man aint like the ones you started describing but the choice is theirs as well as the womans'. That nigga Irv's a fucking clown

peace

Come on Miss rashaans girl you act like men can't change there ways.
Honestly I will always look at women and flirt I see nothing wrong with that. But I really do respect the sanctity of marriage believe it or not. Respect it enough not to do it until I know I'm ready. As far as ninja's 50 and 60 doin
dumb shit thats crazy. I'm in my early 30's livin the good life and can't relate to having baby mommas or children out of wedlock.

Im at a crossroad in my life... so I may not be able to give you the best unbiased answer.... But you asked, "Can men change their ways?" Um...well, my jury is still out on that one. (and that goes for women as well.) But it's been my experience that the best predictor of future behavior is PAST behavior. You usually can't turn a whore into a house wife.

They've been together for 15+ years, so she was with duke when he was broke and he was probably a completely different individual. When money and fame kick in, and your not used to that type of attention from women, your insecurities kick in to high gear because then you need to feed and ego thats not used to being fed but is in fact rather malnourished.

Dont assume that his wife isnt indulging, she just probably handles her shit in a more discreet and mature way. She may just have one guy she sees every now and again.

I'm wondering why you said Meth and LL are notorious for wandering, although I assume most rappers do, I've never heard much about these two, especially Method Man.

I believe in an open marriage as well................cheat on me and I'll open the door and let yo' black ass leave!!! There really is no excuse for cheating. My thing is this if you feel you want to sleep with someone else break the shit off. Don't they call it irreconcilable differences? I as a man am comfortable with being with one woman. There really is no stress involved with me there. I know what's out there, and really and truly you ain't missing shit. Oohh new pussy, big fucking deal You know what new pussy becomes after the first fuck, old pussy. If you feel you are mature enough to get into an adult relationship, you should know what one entails. Honey on the show isn't very bright to me, and seems as if she's more worried about financial shit than love. I'm not a fan of that Kimora chick, but she hustled during her marriage to old Rush there. She built a brand off his brand which was all good. She doesn't need financial help. So when their relationship broke up, it was okay for both to walk. Irv wife just wanted to be that a wife, nothing more, nothing less. You can't just marry for looks or what someone else has, cause all that shit could be gone tomorrow. You have to be with someone who wants more. Not from you, but for themselves. She should have wanted her own. He weilds all the power there because she prepared wrong and out of fear. She gets a raw deal either way. He clearly is not at the point where he just wants to fuck and love only one woman. He doesn't realize these chicks are in it for a come up, most of them at least. So when dealing with two grown ass children like the two of them are, you can expect them to act childlike. If she had her own shit I guarantee she'd have left after his first fuck up. Just my 2cents though

And they will continue to deal with it.

From the looks of Irv Gotti (not hating on his game or status or anything of the sort) it's safe to say he wasn't getting any, at least not at the level he is now, before he got rich and famous. Now that he is, what's the incentive? He's taking care of his wife and kids, obviously the cheating isn't a problem if his wife is letting it continue, and I say that tongue in cheek.

It's like Chris Rock said, "A man is as faithful as his options," and while it doesn't hold men in the best light it's somewhat true. But a lot of men don't have that option(s) until they get somewhere and now the pussy is coming at them like a frisbee. Women might be a little more secure in their decisions or marriage since you can get sex (for the most part) anytime you want it. So you'll feel a little more comfortable settling down because you've sampled (or had the opportunity to) a large selection of men out there. Which is why yall don't sweat sex so much, and don't see the big deal in terms of acquiring a long-term relationship, since the next penis is right around the corner. Most men simply don't have that option.

And I'm pretty sure she knew, or knows, what the tick-tock is when she married Irv. I think any person in that sort of situation should end it to help their children, but her ass is holding on, he's obviously not a good person, as per the show, so why stay with him? I think we all know the answer to that...

From a real man's POV:

I had to leave my son's mother because I couldn't love her the way she needed to be loved and knew the only reason she was still in it was for our son, but in the long run that only complicates things. I knew that me not being the house with my son was going to be very hard to deal with but I wanted to give her a chance at finding someone who could really love her the way she wanted to be loved.

I think Irv is fucking with this girl's life...he knows deep down that if she ever meets another man it's over for him...no more keys to the house or pseudo marriage. He needs to man up and leave...kick it with his kids as much as possible but let that woman have a life.

to be honest i would flip out on his ass lol... i'm not tryin to deal with no nigga cheatin on me... been there done that before and not anymore lol. i would have to tell him it would either be his family or them hoes. if he couldn't deal with that then she just divorce him and take em to court. she would still live a nice life with her kids but he would be paying for the majority of everything... the house, school, food, clothes, etc... that would be a stupid move on his part

Couldn't have said it better myself. If she conjured up "valid" reasons for her to stay in a marriage like that, more power to her. But that would never be me. I have too much respect for myself as a woman to be married to a man who doesn't respect the commitment we made to each other. I've seen too many unhappy women in my own family dealing with the same issue, and I could never submit myself or my children to that.
