Actually the dems are trying...biden and the house have stuff in the works....but since scotus gutted the voting rights law, states can do a lot of shit that would have been harder before

The House of Rep. just passed HR 1, which is a voting rights bill. It passed in a party line vote... zero republican support. Republicans hate it, so you know it is basically a bill that tries to make it easy for more people to vote, etc. I believe the Senate has their own version, but it may have a harder time passing because of the filibuster.

As I said above, it may get filibustered in the senate, so it's anyone's guess if it will make it through over there. 40 is reparations right? We're talking voting stuff here, but as far as I know, 40 was just taken over from Conyers by Sheila Jackson Lee. I'm assuming it will pass the house, but same as the other, it'll have a harder road in the senate.

Look, I'm all for gay people wanting to get married (when that flat-chested tall basketball Butch chick got married and then got divorced and lost half her shit...I smiled a little.......actually, I smiled a lot)
But the only reason Democrats fight for LGBT is because they are included in this group. There are white gay people. If there were no white gay people we wouldn't see any of this "fight for rights" that's more important than everything else
The Democrats have no balls, and when someone comes in there with some fight, AOC and her squad, they silence them.
