I was wondering what's the consensus on these watches? I was just browsing Overstock.com cuz one of my boys said they had some good deals on there. I'm checking out the watch section and I see a pretty large selection of Invictia watches that are reasonably priced. I can't really afford to ball out for a Rolex, so I was wondering are these considered good watches, because from the eye test they're looking pretty good.

They make some decent stuff for the money. I own a rolex yachtmaster and a submariner. But I also have about 5 invicta's that I wear as daily beaters.
I would not pay more than $100 bucks for any invicta with a miyota movt.

They do however have some nicer models with swiss eta and sellita movts inside. These are much nicer pieces and usually go for around $200-$400 bucks.

Oris does make some nice stuff as well. I have about 40 watches in my collection. I have a little bit of everything.

Hope it helps.................

Decent watch for the money.
More of a stylistic statement than a thing of any true engineering, mechanical merit, or real appreciative monetary value.

I got 3 so far, they are great for the price...specially online u get them for under $100 and they are worth way more.

here are some bad pics of the 3 i got

I can definitely say that, for the money, Invicta watches are alright. I have 10 of them and I get compliments all the time about whichever one I am wearing. Definitely buy them through ShopNBC. Can't beat paying for the watch in installments, but getting the watch in about a week after you order it. And save yourself some more money and get them when there is free shipping. ShopNBC is always having some type of event and will have free shipping) or Google "shopnbc coupons" and use an online coupon.

patek phillip. nobody knows how hard you ballin except another pp owner. oh, and you know the women know the price of everything you wear.

I got like 3 of em..each were like $500
Good watches...even when i slept on the brand, some white dude on the plane i was getting on looked over and said "Is that an Invicta?"
I replied trying not to b surprised.."why yes it is sir!"
He said "niiice...I have a few of those..very nice watch" ...then made his way to his seat in 1st class! :hmm:

I have a couple of them. I spent no more than $200 on each. They usually have these sales on them. Some of the watches are a tad too gaudy, but they do the trick for everyday wear.

I am not into the entire status thing. so I only buy what I like, and I would rather put my money to things that are more meaningful to me like food and health.

Certain things impress other people, but I have never been impressed by one's social status.

i copped the Invictia skeleton watch for about $550.00 on sale. it was originally for $725.00. it's a real pussy magnet and keeps great time. i'm thinkin' of fuckin' of some cake on a HUBLOT for christmas. i worked hard this year and want to treat myself to something.

They sure are. I have five myself, and I get plenty of compliments on them to. Fuck going broke for a Rolex or Tag. Use that cash to buy a better or another house. ;)

I have had the Ocean Ghostfor a few years. I love it it's durable as well no problems. I want another one but I only like the model I have so I may get another color. I saw a few today in Bj's for like 30 cash! Also check the Sunday Run on their site.

I have 3. The first two of I got from overstock.com. The other one I lucked up on. I was in a Value City and came across it for like $50 bucks.

Invictas are definitely terrific timepieces and I will definitely recommend them to just about anyone seeking a beautiful reliable watch. I own several time pieces mostly of the Breitling brand but the few Invictas I have turn heads just as much as my Breitlings do. When you get down to the nitty gritty such as movements and such then yeah, Invictas don't compete but who really cares? My Breitling is rock solid and most watches worth a couple grand are but the fact remains that a $20 Timex can keep time much better than watches with mechanical movements. So don't get caught up in the glamour and glitz that is rolex and the other "bling" brands because most cats that hate on Invicta are slaves to brand names and flash. They're the reason why GM can take a Tahoe, slap some chrome on it, raise the price 10k, sale it as an Escalade, and get away with it.

I agree with My Mella. If you look into getting an Invicta, get one with the higher quality eta movement. It's worth it in the long run.

For a watch in Invicta pricerange I'd personally cop this Tag.

Another joint I like but not in that pricerange.

go to shopnbc.com

Listen to this man, I have 3 Invictas courtesy of this site.

100_0087.jpg

All have automatic movements, all were $200 or less, and with ShopNbc, you can spread payments out on all of their merchandise in case you can't drop all the cash outright.

These 3 are also large watches, from right to left the case sizes are (in mm) 42, 46, & 52.

If I can get an assist on how to post pics, I can post a few pics of some nice watches including a nice $165 divers watch from amazon.com

I'll edit this post to put up
ref=ord_cart_shr
the pics.

this is the one I ended up getting, I wanted to start off with something in the lower price range just to see how they look. this shit looks even better in person, I've gotten several compliments from ladies at the job about it already. Got it off of overstock.com for a shade over $150 with the waranty, I'm probably gonna try that installment plan with shopnbc when I get my next one.
