I've been talking to folks from Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Ghana about opportunities abroad. After seeing the brotha who started his own car company and the lady who created the bamboo bicycle, I'm interested in Africa for the opportunities to actually build and support without worrying about all of the restraints here in America. Now I know you can make it in America but like Mos Def I feel that some services and goods could be of benefit to those that look like us and actually appreciate ingenuity and innovation. Are there any member here who have actually setup business in Western (or any part really) Africa? If so, have you had any trouble or are there any pros and cons? How do you deal with issues like FATCA if you are here in the states? Serious answers only please.
