You can publish your articles, edit the html, add images and even link up your adsense account.

I predict that in the near future that Google will place a large emphasis on Google knol. You will do a search and Google will highlight in some way the Google knol pages. So say you do a search on Internet marketing, Google will display "results from Google knol" just like they have been doing with images, shopping, news, books etc.
I predict this because Google has and always will place a huge amount of emphasis on their own products and will most likely give a favorable amount of credit to the knol pages. And if anything they like to obliterate the competition, which means trouble for Ezinearticles, squidoo etc.
