These niggas here don't know how to swim, you expect them to get on a boat and sail out in the middle of the ocean.:smh:

RC has the nicer boats. check out their oasis line (currently the biggest and newest ships so more $$$)

i dont think the room upgrades are worth it. most your on the boat time will not be spent in your
cabin especially if the ship has a lot of things to do

Nuther tip if you go carnival they allow you to bring 1 bottle of wine aboard per adult as a carry-on. they also allow you to bring one case of water or pop per passenger also as a carry-on.

If you choose to sneak alcohol aboard I suggest you do it in your checked luggage.

Two great tips...

1. Get a room with a balcony!!!

2. Order your bottles of liquor thru Bon Voyage at least a month before traveling on your Carnival cruise. The bottle will be in your cabin waiting for you when u check in. Carnival does not advertise it, but u can and the mark up prices are decent.

Here's the latest prices and info... Yiou will have fun regardless if u pick Carnival or Royal.

according to bgol is cool to be a introvert so be sure to stick to yourself and don't talk to anyone

The prices for bottles of liquor have gone up since I cruised last year, but better than buying drinks aboard every damn minute and not get much of a buzz.

Also, each passenger is allowed to carry a 12 pack of your drink of choice like Pepsi, Coke etc. As well as one bottle of wine, per person (750ml bottles).

Been on several cruises and Carnival has given me the best experience. Decent embark and debarking situation. I also sneak my liq on every time. If you drink light liq put it in a water bottle, if your taste is for dark, put it in an ice tea bottle. I had a fucking bar on that ship and avoided paying 7 bucks for a drink. And trust me, even on a 3 day cruise if you drink, you can rack up a nice bill. All in all, most lines are owned by the same company so you will get a similar experience. We also always go for the upgrade as getting stuck in an inside middle of the boat cabin leads to sea sickness. Fresh air is the key, so pay the upgrade fee and bang yo girl under the stars :D

Whatever you do KEEP ALL YOUR RECEIPTS. You might have some service person who will try to pend bogus charges to your card (example, you buy 1 drink but they ring up 5) so don't throw any receipts away just in case.

isn't it kinda obvious that your are tying to sneak liquor on board when you are bringing a bunch of ice tea and mouth wash on a cruise?

Another Carnival tip...If they have a pasta entre in the main dining room (like lasagna) you can order that pasta dish as your appetizer.

why would you need to bring soda and water on a cruise ship when that shit is free?????

bookit.com has good rates on cruises...

you need to narrow down where you want to go that will determine your fees. yeah you can find good rates on cruises but if you have to fly to the port of call that can sometimes jack the prices way up

RC>>>>>>Carnival in my opinion

if you havent already done so get your passports. the closer you get to summer the longer it will take for them to come back and you dont want to have to pay the rush fee. i would go with the regular passport vs the passport card. you may want to do some other type of travel besides Caribbean cruises and the card only gets you on cruises and into Canada

I cut for that - I'm a Crown man, so I get a big bottle of Listerine and pour it out; add a couple drops of blue food coloring and none are ever the wiser.

I cut for that, too. My first cruise was in an interior stateroom and I vowed never to do that shit again. Niggas say you never spend time in your room... hell naw if all you had to look at was 4 walls. Dig deep for the upgrade and you and mama enjoy some moonlit fuckin on the ocean. She'll reward you for the experience... trust!

See above. Pack some Dramamine - even if you don't think you'll get motion sickness. Shit's high as giraffe pussy on board, and YOU DO NOT WANT TO EXPERIENCE SEA SICKNESS.

Whatever you do KEEP ALL YOUR RECEIPTS. You might have some service person who will try to pend bogus charges to your card (example, you buy 1 drink but they ring up 5) so don't throw any receipts away just in case.

Count on it, ALWAYS, ALWAYS a line of folk at guest services raising hell when you get back home. Keep all your receipts and there's no room for misunderstanding.

Have fun, pimp. It took me into my 30s to take advantage of cruising - never thought I would enjoy it. It's our preferred method of vacationing now.

Pop is not free on a cruise. The free beverages on a cruise are water, ice tea and lemonade (some juices and milk are available with breakfast.) And its not bottle water its ship faucet water.

One more thing - show your cabin steward and matire d' love when you get on board, not just when you leave. They can make or break a lodging and dining experience.

Yup. I handed my steward a twenty the first day on board, and about that much the day I left. Well worth it. No issues..
