IN THE NEWS: The McDonald’s worker who tipped off the police as to the whereabouts of murder suspect Luigi Mangione might NOT get the $50,000 reward because he called 911 & not the TIP number…. Also, the money has to be approved by the Secretary of State and he may not get all of the money, just a portion of it.
It’s always something. Any excuse not to pay. So much for “doing the right thing.”
The ironic thing is, this is similar to what the insurance companies do, find a loophole to avoid paying the money. Art imitates life.
