For people who are offended or feel some way about nonblacks using the word in public.. would you use it in your lyrics as a successful musician/rapper?

Nope. If you have a decent vocabulary you can make songs without it. I thing you'd be hard pressed to find it in a KRS-1 song unless it was for effect.

No I wouldn't guys using nigga and profanity IMO really don't have much to say. Those words are just fillers that don't add substance to their message.
Gil Scott-Heron rapped for decades and rarely used the words used today. The minds today are not on the same level, if so they would see there's no need......if their words are strong.

I'm extremely passionate, and regular words just don't pack the punch necessary to adequately express not just what I'm thinking, but how I feel about what I'm thinking.
Example: Veston stole my ten dollars!
Example2: That nigga Veston stole my motherfucking ten dollars!
Example 1 suggests I am upset, and my go cry in the car. Example no. 2 suggests I may actually beat Veston's ass for lying to me about a server.

A rapper like Rakim can go on tour with no album out and have a large draw, so I'd say that he's successful.
In terms of the original question, you'd have to define "successful" because you can consider a lot of these rappers out now that by their album sales, but those niggas would be lyrically crippled without using: like, niggas, club, bitches, money, trap, and pussy at least 3 times per verse.

Every ethnic group has slurs that they use among themselves that people not belonging to that group are "allowed" to use, it's not just Black people and "nigga".
