So I learned about Airalo from a friend and tried it while I was in Jamaica. It's a pretty good service. It allows you to pay for and download an eSIM for your phone. So if you're going to a country for a short trip and want to use data....only data no voice....try out Airalo.

Two pieces of advise. Download and use the esim before you leave for your trip. Also I used my laptop so that I could easily scan the QR code with my phone and also put service on my kid's phones as well.

thanks,
i could have used this while i was in jamaica too, but i just waited till i was back at the hotel each day instead.

Yep Guyanese person I know turned me on to it.

 I get 5GB free of high speed international but burn through that pretty fast. I use this for reups as it is $36 for an additional 2GB instead of $50 for 15gb from tmobile. They have a ton of referral codes too so you can take $3 off pretty easily.
