I can definitely taste the difference by just looking at the bottle shapes

I'll bet that you'll leave with a Smile

Pepsi Distributed Dr Pepper (on the left) And Coca-Cola Distributed Dr Pepper (on the right) side by side. Dr. Pepper isn’t owned by another company, it is its own company Keurig Doctor Pepper, BUT they don’t have a bottling facility. In an area, they use whichever bottling facility gives them the best deal. That’s why sometimes it’s Pepsi shaped and sometimes it’s Coke shaped! "Real" lovers of Doctor Pepper, recognize the difference in taste

The best was from Dublin Bottling Plant in Dublin, TX they were the oldest bottler of Dr Pepper in Texas until their license was pulled when Dr Pepper was sold to another company... They were still bottling with sugar only... Great place to visit much better than the Waco location!

wtf ! I had no idea about this . What I do know is that they both taste very different.
9/10 the Dr pepper on the left is gross and tastes flat VS the one on the right is always good .

Here's a more detailed explanation:
Ownership:
Dr Pepper is owned by Keurig Dr Pepper, a company formed from the merger of Dr Pepper Snapple Group and Keurig Green Mountain in 2018.
Distribution Agreements:
Keurig Dr Pepper has licensing agreements with both Coca-Cola and Pepsi bottlers, meaning that depending on the specific area, you might find Dr Pepper distributed by a Coca-Cola bottler, a Pepsi bottler, or even an independent bottler.
Historical Context:
This arrangement stems from historical distribution agreements that Dr Pepper established with regional Coca-Cola and Pepsi bottlers, particularly in the South and North, respectively.
Example
In the Southern US, Coca-Cola holds the rights to distribute Dr. Pepper, while in the northern part of the United States, Dr. Pepper is distributed by regional bottlers, many of which are affiliated with PepsiCo.
