The husband of a young Pakistani mother shot and killed in New Jersey as she pushed her 3-year-old son in a stroller Tuesday was charged with her murder today after admitting he hired his girlfriend to carry out the attack, authorities said.

Kashif Parvaiz, who was walking with his wife Nazish Noorani when the attack occurred Tuesday night in Boonton, NJ, also was charged with conspiracy, weapons offenses and child endangerment.

A woman arrested yesterday in Massachusetts, Antoinette Stephen of Billerica, Mass., was charged with murder conspiracy and weapons offenses, authorities said today. She was named as the shooter and the two had a long-term romantic relationship, authorities said.

Details that emerged today of the assassination plot portray a philandering and abusive Parvaiz searching for a way to get rid of his beautiful wife. He and Stephen carefully planned the assault, even checking to see how far away the nearest police precinct was from where the attack would take place, an affidavit shows.

Morris County Prosecutor Robert A. Bianchi said Parvaiz's story began to unravel as he continuously changed it.

He originally said three men, one black, one white and one of an uncertain race, called the couple terrorists before opening fire.

Later, he told detectives it was three black men, according to the affidavit.

Parvaiz, of Brooklyn, then admitted that he was angry at his wife because she made negative comments about his family.

And then he began admitting his role in the attack to Capt. Jeff Paul of the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office.

Parvaiz said it was an accident, that he didn't mean for his wife to die and that he didn't want to go to jail.

Parvaiz also said he didn't want to be the person responsible for looking at his children and tell them he was the one who took away their mother, according to the affidavit.

Parvaiz said he contacted Stephen to get her help. The two met in Brooklyn and discussed his turbulent relationship with Noorani. Stephen agreed to help him and they came up with the plan in which Parvaiz would take Noorani on a walk.

Stephen would then kill Noorani and wound Parvaiz, according to the affidavit. Parvaiz suffered superficial wounds in the attack.

The two swapped chilling text messages for days as they schemed, the affidavit said

--Aug. 12, 11:34 a.m. Stephen texted Parvaiz, "You hang in there. Freedom is just around ur corner," the affidavit said.

--Aug. 14, 1:03 p.m. Parvaiz to Stephen, "Well I need to speak to you and explain to you how to approach the situation. ill be despositing money tomorrow morning and ill see you tomorrow evening night."

--Aug. 15, 10:07 p.m. Parvaiz to Stephen, "I can meet u I told Naz I ate too much and im going out for a walk where r u."

--Aug. 15, 10:07 p.m. Parvaiz to Stephen, "Driving now."

--Aug 15, 10:07 p.m. Parvaiz to Stephen, "K text me when u in neighborhood."

--Aug 15, 10:07 p.m. Parvaiz to Stephen, "I'm down church street."

--Aug. 15, 10:44 p.m. Stephen to Parvaiz, "I know, I saw. I’m driving to the nearest precinct. To judge their driving distance."

--Aug. 15, 10:44 p.m. Parvaiz to Stephen, "ull have a 10 mints head start."

--Aug. 15, 10:44 p.m. Stephen to Parvaiz, "I know. its just that since we’re close to Lubnas [Noorani's sister] house plus they’re going to be awake, they’ll come out first. I’ll be running right their way. U need to. ... stall for some time along the road a little away so they’re not alert."

--Aug. 15, 10:44 p.m. Stephen to Parvaiz, "Oh s--t. Im parked near Naz’s home. Was going to walk the area."

--Aug. 15, 11:37 p.m. Stephen to Parvaiz, "I was parked outside Lubnas home. Just one car distance away from the first parked car. I wanted to see ppl movement arnd that corner"

Aug. 16, 2:12 p.m. Stephen to Parvaiz, "Call me when you can. Delete all msgs from phone. I won’t message from here on"

They finalized the arrangements in a cellphone call on Tuesday, the day of the attack. Stephen called Parvaiz at 9:30 p.m., according to the affidavit. The shooting took place a little after 11 p.m.

Today The Post reported that detectives had zeroed on the husband.

Noorani's relatives said she lived in fear of Parvaiz, 26, whom they blasted as an abusive philanderer who has lied to them about aspects of his life, from his college degrees to his contracting business.

But most concerning was an ominous text message she allegedly sent her older brother just a month ago.

"I dont no wht to do," she wrote to her brother Kaleem Noorani. "Cant talk to him cuz he abuse me than ... he dosent wanna live with me ... i dont no kids get scared of him sometimes ... im so tired of this ... i dont no I m scared ... someday u will find me dead because its cuz of kashi ... he wants to kill me

The affidavit said investigators were told Parvaiz physically abused Noorani and had extramarital affairs, which Parvaiz confirmed to them. Investigators recovered two guns from his car, a 9 mm Ruger and Sig Sauer.

Parvaiz also hit and pushed Yelena Belorusets, 20, of Brooklyn, in February in Boston, authorities said. He was arraigned on assault and battery charges but they were dropped when Belorusets didn't show up for a hearing.

Parvaiz is being held on a $1 million bail and Stephen is being held in Boston on a $5 million bail, authorities said.

Even Cops are starting to realize that the "Black Male Assailants*" line is wearing thin.
That Charles Stuart move ain't working anymore for the most part.

For Parvaiz and Stephens to commit this murder in front of his 3-year old son is beyond cowardly and disgusting*.

And his murderer/g*irlfriend isn't even as gorgeous as his wife.

DUMB SIMP!!!

wifey looked like a dime piece. Was probably getting laid out by a brother too. GF is mad ugly, end of story.

At least he didn't blame it solely on "imaginary" black males. He threw the white man under the bus too  More proof of the post-racial USA!

Dumb mfs should get fried 2x for not paying attention to every police drama, where the 1st thing they do is check phone records...if gps is enabled they even know where you were when you made the call

The monster cut a $2 million real-estate deal just hours before his wife's murder -- courtesy of his elderly sugar daddy.

Less than two years ago, handsome alleged killer Kashif Parvaiz, 26, had persuaded a frail, older gay man to sign over to him his share of a Queens apartment building that is now about to be sold for more than $9 million, The Post has learned.

The contract for the sale was signed Tuesday -- only hours before Parvaiz's beautiful wife, Nazish Noorani, was blown away, allegedly by the hubby's secret lover, in what cops say was a heinous plot cooked up by the both of them.

SUSPICIOUS DEAL: Kashif Parvaiz had closed a deal for a share in this $9 million apartment building in Hillcrest, Queens, just hours before her murder in an ambush, which police now say he had plotted with his secret paramour.

Property records show that wealthy heir Martin Ragusa, 74, of Manhattan, who has used a wheelchair since suffering a stroke a decade ago, had given Parvaiz his 30 percent share in the 114-unit building at 80-25 Parsons Boulevard in Hillcrest in December 2009.

Ragusa's family -- alarmed over his increasingly bizarre relationship with the younger man -- had tried to block the move, going to court just days before the scheduled transfer in a bid to take control of his finances, but failed.

The building is now under contract, set to be sold for $9.3 million in a deal scheduled to close next month, effectively giving Parvaiz $2 million of the proceeds, Ragusa's outraged stepmother told The Post yesterday.

"We signed the contract Tuesday, and I think that's why [Noorani] got killed then," Marguerite Ragusa, 81, said from her waterfront home overlooking Jones Beach in Baldwin Harbor.

Hours after the sale was under contract, Noorani, 27, was shot through the heart on a quiet New Jersey street, allegedly by Antionette "Soni" Stephen, 26, Parvaiz's lover.

The brutal crime -- in which Parvaiz was shot four times but suffered only minor wounds -- was designed to let the allegedly murderous couple start a new life together with a gigantic nest egg, Marguerite Ragusa charged.

"[Parvaiz] was a great con man. Why else would Marty [hand over his share]?" said Mrs. Ragusa, who owns a 20 percent share of the building.

Martin and Parvaiz met 12 years ago, when Parvaiz was 14 and doing maintenance work on Ragusa's home at 440 E. 57th St., sources said.

Over the years, Parvaiz grew to have a Svengali-like hold on Martin, relatives said.

Mrs. Ragusa said that her stepson is gay and that the smooth-talking Parvaiz would often spend the night at his home, though she did not know if they had a sexual relationship.

"He's a very handsome young man, and I know Marty liked him. He'd say, 'He's like a son to me,' " she recalled.

Martin Ragusa could not be reached yesterday.

Last week, after Noorani's murder but before Parvaiz's bust, Martin had tearfully told The Post on video how he, Parvaiz, Noorani and their kids had gone to see "The Smurfs" movie and then broken the Ramadan fast together Monday night, on the eve of Noorani's murder.

"He ordered food, and I don't eat that food, so . . . he got me some pizza," Martin recalled of Parvaiz.

"As far as any friction between [Parvaiz and Noorani], I didn't hear anything like that," Martin said. "It's just that she did not want to stay in Brooklyn" while Parvaiz was supposedly studying at Harvard in Boston.

"The last thing I said to Nazish . . . She was going for her driver's test and flunked, and I said, 'Try again,' " Martin said. "She said, 'Pop, you think I should do that? I said, 'Yes.'

"Who shoots a person nine times, especially a person who has kids?" Martin asked incredulously.

He repeatedly referred to Parvaiz as "my son" and proudly called him "a good student, a very good father and a very good husband.

"He graduated summa cum laude from Columbia [University]" Martin boasted. "They wanted him in Harvard . . . And he wanted that. Because he wanted to get that [architecture] degree to build anywhere he wanted to build."

Martin was apparently unaware that Parvaiz never went to Harvard or Columbia.

"What a loving person," he added of Parvaiz. "Of course, everything I have is his. And he knows that."

Martin -- a former Long Island hair-salon owner who inherited millions when his wealthy father, Albert, died 30 years ago -- had been in a position to help out his young buddy financially.

In early 2007, each month, he gifted Parvaiz with his share of the rent that tenants in the Queens building paid -- $7,000.

Mrs. Ragusa said her stepson also forked over a huge sum of money to Parvaiz for his supposed college tuition payments.

"Marty said, 'I put him through college, and now he's going to Harvard.' But he didn't go," she recalled.

Parvaiz constantly badgered Martin to liquidate all of his assets, assuring the old man it would be better in the long run because he'd qualify for Medicare, a source said.

"We just couldn't believe what was happening with Marty," the source said. "He was completely brainwashed. No one recognized him anymore once Kash was in the picture."

As Martin's family grew more and more suspicious of Parvaiz, the crafty younger man tried to turn his elderly pal against them, saying his family was out to take his money, the source said.

Noorani's family said yesterday that they knew Martin Ragusa -- and said Parvaiz had boasted that Ragusa was going to leave him everything he owned when he died.

Noorani's brother, Kaleem, said the family was aware that Martin had given Parvaiz $10,000 for his supposed studies but didn't know about the additional windfalls.

A source close to the Ragusa family said Noorani's relatives didn't know Martin's real identity, saying Parvaiz made Ragusa lie and say he was one of his college professors when he met his wife's family four years ago at his older son's first birthday party.

The sensational new details in the case emerged as the bad blood between Noorani and Parvaiz's families continued -- ratcheted up by an allegation that the alleged murderer's mom once locked his pregnant wife in a room with a snarling dog.

"[Parvaiz's mom] locked Nazish in a room with a dog after Nazish admitted to her that she was deathly afraid of dogs," a relative of the victim told The Post.

The families are battling over custody of Noorani and Parvaiz's sons, Riyaan, 5, and Shayann, 2.

The boys are with Parvaiz's mother, who lives in Brooklyn.

Both Parvaiz and Stephen have been charged with murder.

Parvaiz was still in Morristown Hospital in New Jersey yesterday, but was expected to be transferred to the Morris County jail either today or tomorrow.

Stephen will be extradited to New Jersey from a Massachusetts prison after a hearing today or tomorrow. She remained held in lieu of $5 million bail.

It's always the story. People always step out, to step and step down. Some of these Indian wives are the traditional type, cooking, cleaning, taking care of the kids, and basically does whatever the husband says. I don't know the guy's situation, but he messed up big time with the text messages, and not establishing a code a least. He deserves whatever happens to him in jail, as well as the fugly girlfriend.

You know if they got away with it, they would have said blacks did it. They would have had every black person in a 20 mile radius in cuffs.

Bail boosted to $3 million for Kashif Parvaiz in twisted wife-slay plot

alg_kashif-pervaiz-court.jpg
amd_antoinette-stephen-courtroom.jpg

Prosecutors won a spike in bail Tuesday for a man charged with murder in a twisted plot that left his wife dead on a New Jersey street.

Suspect Kashif Parvaiz, 26, is a flight risk who could soon be cashing in on a $2.5million real estate deal, they argued. A judge apparently agreed, upping the bail for the Brooklyn-born Parvaiz from $1 million to $3million.

"I'm especially concerned about money issues that are developing," said Morris County Prosecutor Robert Bianchi, adding that his office was probing the Queens real estate deal. Bail for his alleged co-conspirator, Antoinette Stephen, also 26, remained at $5million cash.

Authorities believe Stephen, of Billerica, Mass., pulled the trigger - killing Parvaiz's wife, Nazish Noorani.

Parvaiz was hit with four superficial wounds, an apparent attempt to convince cops he was a victim. Noorani, 27, died at the scene after the Aug. 16 shooting in leafy Boonton, N.J.

Parvaiz and Stephen, who allegedly discussed the plot via text messages, were charged last week with murder, conspiracy and weapons possession.

"This twisted tale that these two engaged in is particularly more egregious and more narcissistic than I've ever seen before in my career," Bianchi said.

Noorani was walking with Parvaiz and their 2-year-old son when the shots rang out. The tot wasn't hurt.

Mitchell Ansell, Parvaiz's attorney, said Parvaiz and Stephen were friends, but he didn't elaborate.

Parvaiz, in a wheelchair and his arm in a sling, didn't speak during the court hearing.

"Kashif Parvaiz did not kill his wife, Nazish Noorani," the lawyer said. "Kashif Parvaiz loved his wife more than anything."

Stephen appeared in court separately. She didn't speak either.
