How to build a mailing list--cheap and effective

Here's some easy advice that I use right now: subscribe to your competitors newsletters and announcements. The people that advertise with them, copy down their information, and send them an ad for your product or service. It may not work everytime, but you will be surprised at just how often it does work.

The trick is to offer a better service and something that is more attractive, and will not come across as spam.

This brutha knows the game. Reverse engineering = letting your competition do your homework for you.
