From a DMV perspective, some of prices down South make me wonder what the hell i'm still doing here. But I guess it's all relative. I hear jobs are scarce down there.

Goes without saying, but even the nicer neighborhoods have to be much less than what you'd get around here.
Try Googling Downtown Silver Spring, MD or Bethesda, MD and see what prices are looking like for a mere 980 sq ft.

Exactly what I'm talking about. The rent may be cheap but you basically need to be in a job that moved you down there and pays nicely in order to make it worth while. Maybe that degree would be better served in another market.
