Cruz is only polling well. It's like when you keep hearing about how dope an album or movie is until YOU check it out. Once the racist right understand they are voting for a Cuban they won't do it. Rafael Eduardo Cruz. That's all you have to put out there and he's done. Whites don't identify with Hispanics, they just allow them to claim to be white but they don't like them. That's why he's running under Ted Cruz instead of his real name. Add the birther and socialite aspect and Hillary or Bernie can eat his Lunch. Start referring to him as Rafael Cruz during live debates.

I fell asleep on the chair yesterday and woke with TV still on..
So I started going through the channels when I came up on
the FOX Business channel where 4 or 5 cacs were analysing
the Democratic party presidential debate. It is amazing how
delusional these Republicans are. According to them, the
Democratic Party has sold out the vision of Kennedy and
moved radically left, and is way out of the main stream. In
their view, the Democratic candidates are boring and cannot
stand up to any of the Republicans. Lost in this perception, or
rather conception, of reality is that GOP starts out with a huge
deficit in electoral votes, and has no chance of turning any of
the Blue States with the extreme right wing rhetoric that is
now their mantra. In addition to this, I doubt if there are any
independents left, who can be moved to their column, what
with their borderline Nazi views...
If the Democrats do not mess this thing up, not only do they
retain the White House, but take the Senate and the House as
well. If Cruz or Trump are the nominees, it is lights out for the
GOP...At least their leadership is aware of this, and trying behind
the scenes to forestall such a deleterious scenario, that presents
the sure prospect of effacing the buggers from the ranks of the
politically relevant....

The problem is that democrats don't win presidential elections by default. They win with rockstars like Bill and Obama. The voters on the dem side aren't as fanatical as the ones on the other side. And don't let it rain or snow on voting day in Ohio in 2016. Democrats aren't battling the elements for any of the candidates. Republicans will come out in hurricanes to vote.

when Nick Nolte went to a Baptist area, he

South Carolina where blacks make 30% of the
vote and what does she do? She reincarnates
herself as Barack Obama....endorsing every

I think you underestimate how racism works. Cruz represents white supremacy and there is nothing better for than an "other" espousing its ideals. It gives them the excuse to say they are not racist. "Look we have a Latino who thinks we should deport Latinos. We have a Latino that thinks it is okay to discriminate against Black people and that cop shootings of citizens are A OK."
Him being Raphael Cruz is fine because he is not like the others. He is one of us. He is a real American.
You are doing the same thing Republicans do by think that the black electorate is dumb. That is why they can trot out these coons time and time again and still lose because they think we are uniformed, but the truth is that the black electorate is most like the most informed electorate in this country. The reason the Republicans do this is because their electorate is uninformed and easily manipulated. Cruz is everything they want in a brown face.
Hillary is fine as is. Her e-mails are a big liability that could produce something damaging-- the slow bleed as these drip out is terrible for her-- but based on what we know about Hillary Clinton, she will be a very strong candidate against any Republican. Rubio is the only one who can compete with her because he will draw some Latino support away (which Cruz can't do because #1 Rubio will pretend to be a moderate in a way Cruz will not and #2 Rubio is more obviously ethnic). She'd crush Trump, Cruz, Christie or Bush.
Again, based on what we know. Democrats should certainly factor in the email situation when assessing Clinton's electablity. But if that doesn't blow up on her, I think Sanders is the toughest challenge she'll face and I'd put money on her against any Republican.
I'd also put money on Sanders against any Republican and he doesn't have any such cloud hanging over his head. If there was dirt on him, the Clintons would have leaked it. He's the stronger candidate.
Either way, Democrats are in a much better position on than Republicans on the national level, gerrymandered House districts and state and city level strength aside. The GOP has problems that threaten the survival of the party within the next decade.
I disagree. What's better "than an 'other' espousing its ideals" is the same espousing its ideals. I promise you, they'd rather not have to not appear to be racist. That's why Trump talks about political correctness in every speech he gives.
They would take Cruz or Rubio over Clinton or Sanders because an "other" espousing their ideals is better than a Negro puppet/lover/whatever. Ted being Raphael Cruz isn't fine and he knows it-- That's why he goes by Ted. But some of them see where the country is going and will accept and even embrace a Ted before risking another Barack.
Here is the thing. Republicans fall in line. They are going to take it no matter what. Ted Cruz is also a Tea Party anti-establishment candidate from Texas. Voting for him is not appearing racist. That is the point.
