How many haircut years do you have left?

I remember I seen my first strand of gray hair in high school….your have to look hard to see them but I for sure got a few since then…you dye yours or you just let it stay 30 percent?
Na, ain't fucking with the dye. Not yet at least. I clip some of the grays in my beard, but thats starting to thin it out. And I literally have 1 gray hair in my mustache, so that's an easy one to cut. Only fear is that I start going fully gray but still look like I'm 35. At that point I may rethink the dye

Any of the fam bald??? Like bald bald, not no gaurd with a clipper bald??? Im trying to get closer but with an electric razor. Thinking Bruan or Norelco type razor. What the fam use??? I dont want the Nestle crunch dome though.
Disclaimer: I don't use an electric. I use multi-bladed disposables and shave gel.

The trick to avoiding razor bumps for us Brothas using razors is to shave with a new razor (or razor blade) in the direction that the hair grows. For me, that means shave backwards on the top, down on the back and horizontally down on the sides. So far, zero bumps.

My routine:
- hot towel for 3-5 minutes to open the pores
- apply shave gel and shave in short strokes
- when finished shaving, rinse with cold water
- pat dry then splash scalp with rubbing alcohol
- follow that up with applying after shave lotion
- apply cocoa butter stick and massage into scalp
- finish with a bit of extra virgin olive oil for shine.

I never considered olive oil for shine. Ima have to try that one.

Started shaving my head at about 40, it's just way easier. Every 2 to 3 days cause my hair grows fast. Didn't even notice it was thinning in the middle until a few years ago when I let it grow for a week. A few grays on the side, but my goatee is about 60 percent gray. Now at 53 rocking the bald head with a mostly gray goatee don't bother me at all. Keep myself fit and stress free.
Not gonna be one of them cats with the crazy extra black dyed hair with the gray roots looking crazy. Make a choice, shave that shit or rock it naturally.

45 and I'm about 40% gray(about 70% on the sides). I had been dying it until about 10 years ago when I started getting thin on my crown and figured I had to pick my battles. I've been on Rogaine since, but started taking this stuff called HIMS about 4 months ago which is minoxidil and a drug called finasteride which helps block further baldness. Most of the men in my family are bald by this age. My hairline has gotten thinner in some places as well. I've been seriously considering getting hair transplant surgery at some point.

Got locks. Keeping locks. 'Nuff said.
My last haircut was in 2019, a day before my 33th birthday. I got a shape-up and the barber had to use some of that black dye bullshit on the left side of my line-up because the corners were thin a.f.

My loc journey literally started that day. I ain't felt a pair of clippers since.

The craziest part is that even though my locs are growing just fine, that small thin spot up front has NEVER grown. Not one tiny iota.

I'm about to be 46, I still have my hairline, I'm still not gray except for my beard. I can get whatever haircut I want, but them joints cost a tank of gas now

Yeah $80-$100 plus for a haircut is unreal
I just use a #1 guard and call it a day
No grey up top but that beard is different
