Obviously we know one day someone woke up and had a moment of truth and bam here we are but films that we enjoy today, come from the hard work and experimentation of the past. For every right way to do things, there are a few hundred wrong ways that filmmakers learned from. This montage goes through just that. It’s inception all the way up to what we enjoy today. You’ll recognize a lot of these classics, there are some omissions but nothing that will make you shut it down because it’s not a good representation of the genre.
