Slow down KOOLKEV....Digital Remastering is a fine art form and a highly paid skill....there's not 1-2-3 steps and no easy click software that will do all that even tho' some claim to.

Just understand that any rip from a retail DVD to a Retail blank medium is going to loose quality but honestly how bad could it be most copies I've ever burned been close to or virtually just as good as the original.

In response to your DVDplatinum issue mabye the files you are burning are partially dependent on the files your not burning thus the loss of quality....try burning the whole thing and check the difference.

You need a program that will convert (let's say).avi files to the dvd file formats. Try "Cucusoft AVI to VCD DVD MPEG Creator Pro" check with your local warez site.

How can they lose quality by just ripping them to your HD. I know that you lose quality if you compress them and burn to a 4.7GB DVD, but did not know that you lose by just ripping. I would have thought that if you rip a regular DVD then burn to a DVD DL then it would be identical in quality.
