How do you feel about Lebron talking down to his teammates?

I am kind of torn about this subject. On one hand I think it is good to have a strong leader but other times I feel it may be a tad bit to much. We were having this convo yesterday at a BBQ.

For example Lebron stated yesterday "Kyrie and Love needs adversity and this will do them well". At times he talks to them as if they were children

Do you think it is good leadership or to much

That's the game, if you've ever played a sport you know when the adrenaline is rushing, you do everything in high tense mode. Instead of talking you yell, when a teammate fucks up you snap, when your team is down and everyone looks depleted you rip into them. Nothing on the court should be taken personal because when you win that trophy, everything that was said is forgotten.

But sometimes I do wish he would just talk about his play and not make Kyrie and Love seem like children

It could be worse

He does talk about his play...

They played horrible in the loss, you want him to warm them some milk ?

The bitchiness of professional sports continues.

If it was me I would grow tired of it. I don't really see other players doing it. I just wonder why Lebron does it.

As a grown man I would grow tired of it

There is a reason why so many have careers nobody remembers.

Just it in for the money ? Don't want to deal with it learn golf or tennis so you sucking doesn't affect anybody else

But as i Posted your narrative isn't correct. he talks about himself and the team....And they all have to do their job.

How many times this year did we read about Rose not leading the Bulls cause he won't speak up..

A leader never talks down on anyone he talks up even when they are wrong. We could talk about the samethings but say it two different ways and it could be taken as such too. Most times it's something that you learn to do and everyone isn't ment to be a leader either.

But wernt you the one defending "yelling" at teamates in another thread??? Like I said in that thread, a man doesn't stop being a man because they're playing a game. You talk to them like they're grown, period.

If that's considered talking down to someone then we have a generation of weak-ass overly sensitive bitches. I don't see how that's "talking down" to someone.

This guy has played team sports before

He talks about them as if they're 14.

I've said for the longest that the straight to high school dudes seem like the worst leaders. It took Kobe 19 or 20 years to get it. Before it was, you need to work as hard and want it as much as I do.

In high school being the best player instantly makes you the leader, and you being the best player often leads to you winning. You don't face real adversity. The microscope isn't on you.
