Long story short I'm in healthcare working with mostly women and they tried to pull me into a gender discussion/war
I was like nah I'm not getting pulled into the BS because both sides do shit. But this older black lady held court today
She got called miserable(put the chick in her place) "nah I been happily married almost 40yrs, you the one miserable can't keep a man". But she said most women confuse convenience and control with love and commitment. She brought up several points especially saying women only want a man to be a man when it's convenient for them and the only way they can keep a man is to control him. I'm asking the board, what y'all think about that.

Your co-worker is right. You can't have a man some of the time. It's either all of the time, or none of the time.

A man is going to do man shit; like protect, provide, eat, and look at women. That's what men do. Do we get foolish sometime? Yes we do.

But in some women's minds, they think that they can tell this MoFo what to do all of the time. Then when shit hits the fan, they want him to "Be A Real Man." Hell, you damn near siphoned all of the masculinity out of him. You can see it in these young cats today.
