I haven't carried, or bought anything with, cash in years, not even a pack of gum. That's why I love it when those begging ass kids outside of the supermarket accost me trying to guilt a motherfucker into buying some god damned overpriced candy for "uniforms" for their alleged marching bands.

Nope, none of that. The only place that I use cash is in parking meters. And, I'm hoping they'll install pay-pass sensors on those. I wouldn't patronize a store that didn't take credit cards. That would make me immediately suspicious of everything they're up to. As to having food delivered, I never do that. I can live within 2 minutes walking distance of at least 20 restaurants. I pay for ice cream with a credit card. Two ice cream cones at Cold Stone Creamery (on Woodward & 15 Mile, for you Detroiters) is about $10 bucks. I'll pull out a credit card for a fifty cent purchase, much less a ten dollar one.

I know quite a few people who don't carry cash.

Edit: If a motherfucker can't put a tip on a credit card--as they do in every restaurant, coffee shop, florist etc.--that I frequent, then they are just shit out of luck. I'll give them some of my parking change, but that's it.

The Only thing I use plastic for is online purchases and purchases over $500. I pay cash for everything else.
