....making Rocket coach, Rick Adelman, a true 'visionary'--well, at least for one game.

The Rockets got yeoman efforts from Aaron Brooks (a career-high 34-pts and Shane Battier's 23-pts) and owned the boards throughout the contest. Ron Artest--sporting a Mohawk 'cut--dropped in 8pts. , but pulled down 10 rebounds, and was aided by Luis Scola's 11-pts and 14 boards. It was a strong team effort, including their bench.

Kobe was MIA, contributing little (15-pts), while teammate Pau Gasol came up big, with a 30-pt effort. Unfortunately, Kobe wasn't the only Laker cast in the MIA role......add Odom, et al. Mark it as an off-day for all. Except for Kobe and Gasol, individual scoring was in the single-digits.

With an inward 'chant' of 'win one for the Ming-Dynasty', the Rockets achieved the ONE. Enjoy it..it may be the last win for them. Nevertheless, the series is now knoted at 2-games each.
