NEW ORLEANS - The Hornets have just scheduled news conference for this afternoon at 1 p.m., regarding what they term as a major announcement.
Among those scheduled to be there are the team's president, general manager, and the executive vice president of basketball.
The announcement comes on the heels of the team's latest loss. The hornets are off to a slumping start with a record of 3 wins and 6 losses.
