:smh::smh::smh:

we want children to remain children and to act like a child BUT we constantly put them in adult situations, give them adult responsibilities, and dress them like adults :smh::smh:

somethin aint adding up

This isn't any worse than people who have little boys with Timberlands and Jordan's. . . . it's pointless.

I think that they are kinda cute :dunno: and as long as they weren't painful or damaging to the foot it would be ok I guess (not for my child, but I wouldn't knock anyone else). . . maybe something for a special occasion/holiday, but not for everyday.

I read an article about this. . . http://abcnews.go.com/Entertainment/Story?id=5206219&page=1

"I'm appalled," said Stacey Swiecicki, a Croton, N.Y., mother, who has a 1-year-old daughter. "It's one thing to buy Disney princess shoes, but never in a million years would I put my daughter in those shoes."

"You hear about all the back problems women have wearing heels, besides the sexual innuendo and not to mention JonBenet," said Swiecicki, a part-time fragrance representative.

But its creators say that misses the point.

"When you compare a baby shoe to an unsolved murder, when you are talking about kids in pageants, it's insulting to parents and insulting to us," said Bacon, whose clients are "men, women, teen-age girls, grandparents and uncles who buy them for layette gifts."

Besides, she claims, high heels get a bad rap and are "not just for strippers

I think that Jon Benet comparison was a little extreme. . but I guess I can kind of understand.

I don't think its that serious. Just a bunch of idiots trying to have fun and make money. They're not even intended for walking. They only come in sizes 0-6 months anyway. Its either a joke or a mom's fashion statement...still a joke but just not jon benet serious...

well she didn't start off with high heel booties and many lil white girls are killed everyday cuz of crazy white men, not necessarily the lifestyle they live. Or the clothes their moms choose to dress them in.

She could have ,at the very least, made the heels match the outfit. Sheesh, what is teaching her child.

I didn't start to see girls wear heels till I was about 12, the girls would wear penny loafers with a 1 inch heel with school uniforms, then from middle school on I started to see girls wear higher heels and such.
Me personally, I always said, no heels till atleast 12, 13. Shit younger than that it looks like you are putting a sign on your daughters ass that says "rape me".

I didn't like that Dereon Ad with the girl with the heels on. But thats me
