Raphael Warnock was the person who introduced suspending the federal gas tax in order to lower gas prices.
Republicans answers to everything is pretty much doing nothing or taking away rights such as voting rights, abortion, etc. With that said the $15 minimum wage could have been a part of the stimulus bill but all the Republicans and 8 Dems including the usual suspects voted against doing that. And Biden could sign an executive order that would eliminate some or all federal student loan debt but hasn't done so.
For those who say that both parties are the same they're not. I'd rather have someone not do anything to help me than having someone actively working against me
